Absolutely unbelievable. Best city hotel I have ever stayed in. Every detail is impeccable. i will forever dream of returning here. Their service is fantastic. We arrived early from a red eye with two young kids and our room wasn’t ready. We tried to swim and use the spa while we waited but after an hour, the exhaustion was really hitting us. They offered us a room just to nap in while we waited for our room to be ready. We were so appreciative!

We had the most wonderful stay at the Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and cared for. The service was flawless—thoughtful, attentive, and always with a genuine smile. Every detail of our stay felt effortless, from the beautifully appointed room with its elegant Parisian charm to the little touches that made us feel at home. The location was perfect for exploring the city, but honestly, it was hard to leave the comfort and beauty of the hotel itself. Breakfast was a dream, and the floral arrangements in the lobby alone are worth a visit. We left feeling refreshed, pampered, and incredibly grateful. My stay was incredible. The Concierge was so kind and helpful, the rooms were beautiful and comfortable, and my suite had amazing views. From start to finish, everything was perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I not even sure where to start with this review. The hotel and staff were absolutely amazing and our stay was perfect. From the private transfer and pickup from the train station to the hotel, the greeting and escort to our room…service was just beyond expectations. We have stayed at many Four Seasons over the years and this was by far the best experience we have ever had at any hotel in the world by far!! The bar and lounge area was fantastic as was the spa and common areas of the hotel. We hope to come back in the near future.

Retire the category. The Four Seasons George V is the best hotel ever. They need more stars for this as it’s truly in a class by itself. The rooms are spectacular. Parisian style and extremely comfortable with a bed and blackout shades that will give you the best nights sleep you’ve had in years. The food is legendary. The breakfast buffet is something I will dream about for years. The setting is magical with flower arrangements that are otherworldly. But what sets it apart is the service. I don’t remember the last time, if ever, I was treated this beautifully at a hotel. By every single employee. Consistently. If there isn’t a table available at breakfast in the lounge, they will open L’Orangerie for you rather than make you wait. They will rush to open your chair when you sit. Garry at check-in was particularly lovely asking if he could be my concierge during my stay and even writing a handwritten thank you note when I left. All other hotels take notice that it is indeed possible. I’ve been all over the world for work and for vacation. I’ve been privileged to stay at many of the leading hotels. This one is the best. Hands down. I will be back again and again. Merci!

Great Experience and unforgettable moments, as staff is very friendly, helpful. rooms are very clean and spacious and washrooms are hygienically ok. food is great and tasty as well.

Service is absolute; going an above and beyond for their clients, finding wild strawberries for us (because they remember that we love them) just for a second it’s October that makes it nearly impossible to find them.

I stay at a lot of the most elite hotels. Usually, you feel very taken care of, they add custom details, little niceties, complementary things, etc. Zero of that at this hotel. They just try to maximize profit in every situation. $46 for a bowl of berries with breakfast. Less than 40 berries included. $20 for a bottle of water. Won’t customize breakfast at all or do any swaps. Not very accommodating at all. You do not pay $3000 a night for this level of accommodation. This is lower level hotel kind of service. So I didn’t like that and won’t stay here again. Low value for cost compared to other hotels at this level. Besides that, the location was great, it was a comfortable room, and the building was nice.

My group of friends and I arrived late in the evening. Hotel bellboys carried our luggage to our rooms, which had just been cleaned and scented. We had a magnificent view of the obelisk. The hotel staff was kind and very pleasant. We enjoyed ourselves in the hotel restaurant. We had a wonderful stay at this 5-star hotel. I recommend this magnificent hotel to anyone.

Had an afternoon tea at the Ritz. It was a little bit crowded which you don’t really want to see in a luxury hotel. I assume it is because of the fashion week.. service is great but we had to wait some time.. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The tea itself is good, however one thing to keep in mind that it is 100% sweet things only (a little bit odd because I’m not sure you can eat a whole tower of desserts). They provide two options to choose from one that includes just a tower and the other one is tower + dessert. I must say having just a tower is enough haha.

Staying at the Ritz Paris was an amazing experience from start to finish. The team is wonderful so welcoming and caring that you feel at home the moment you arrive. Our room had a beautiful garden view, and every detail was carefully thought out. One day I left my glasses on the table, and when I came back, housekeeping had placed a little cloth for them, it’s a small thing, but it made me feel so cared for. Room service was perfect, so tasty that on the first day I didn’t even want to leave the hotel. The gym is excellent, and I loved that there was even a separate space for Pilates with reformer machines. Dinner at Espadon was another highlight with delicious food and great service. When I left, I was given the hotel’s signature tea as a gift 🥹such a thoughtful gesture and the perfect ending to a wonderful stay. Truly the best hotel❤️

Exceptional in every sense of the word. Concierge was incredibly helpful and helped us with reservations and even changing our flight to an earlier flight so we make an important meeting in Geneva. They were exceptionally accommodating for our peronal event and photoshoot at the hotel. In every sense of the word they have been exceptional during our stay and true to the Shangri-La standards!

Shangri-La Paris is one of the most luxurious and elegant hotels in the city 🌟 My stay there was absolutely exceptional — the rooms are beautifully designed with stunning views of the Eiffel Tower, and the service is fast, refined, and truly royal. 🏰✨ The breakfast was delicious and varied, and the staff were extremely friendly and professional. We enjoyed our stay here we came for work and got upgraded to superior suite right away. Friendly staff, few recommendations; tea and wine refill services were a bit slow. Chi spa lacks Jacuzzi, gym is very small, pool meditation area is somewhat noisy in the afternoon due to constant chatter of the staff. But overall we enjoyed our stay as always !!

This hotel lounge was the best decision l made in finding a place to relax after a day of sightseeing and visiting the Eiffel Tower. The service is Top tier, polite, clean and elegant staff and lobby. Excellent. The hotel is classy and elegant. They had the best Cafe Macchiato and Cafe Late I’ve ever had. The ladies and Gentlemen waiters were very polite and gracious . The restrooms were in perfect condition. Very relaxing at atmosphere. The service is beyond excellent. I will definitely visit the next time l am in the area. Highly recommend 🩷

The hotel is beautiful, the location is very good. It is near the Eiffel Tower and Lena metro, bus stops. The room cleaning service is fast and attentive. There is one thing that makes me disappointed and think about whether to rate 5 stars or 4 stars. My wife and I love taking pictures around the hotels and resorts we have stayed at. I chose 11:30 PM to take pictures for my wife and make sure not to disturb other guests. However, we were still refused permission to take pictures by two hotel staff. They only allowed quick pictures with phones but not cameras. We really don't understand why they banned taking pictures. This is the first time we have been refused permission to take pictures like this.

The hotel is beautiful but I can only comment on the cuisine which is not very good. Although the food is well presented, the flavor is very bland. The codfish was not codfish at all. They also didn't let me check out the hotel despite having booked a lunch there... was disappointing.

We had a disappointing stay - this is an inferior hotel compared to other Shangri La globally. Out of our four-night stay, we were approached by different staff daily questioning us on various matters in the spa (getting teas), in the hallway (raising voice asking us to not take the stairs), and at the front door (bell men literally blocking our exit). Except for the more senior (older) staff, the younger looking staff treated us as if we were potential shoplifters. It got so bad that we were joking the hotel must be running an internship training week during our stay, which is absurd given the room rate. I understand the management of this chain values customer feedback and I hope they will conduct a deep dive investigation of the Paris location. We will not return.

This hotel is immaculate and oozes luxury with an amazing reception and ground floor areas of highly polished marble. The lobby restaurant is hideously expensive for food and drink. The 3 course menu attracts attention but my steak cooked Medium was average at best served with a ring of fondant potato. No other vegetables and for 85€ i was disappointed. It is luxurious, frequented by heads of state. The rooftop bar is lovely so to pay for the view is acceptable with €20 for a bottle of 1664 beer.

Adam is the best! He is extremely friendly, very polite, and makes every guest feel welcome. His kindness and professionalism truly stand out, and I have a wonderful experience every time I visit thanks to him! Also, I would like to mention that all the hotel staff are incredibly polite and always do their best to make guests feel satisfied and comfortable. Their warm hospitality really makes a difference.

Absolutely phenomenal! I organized a business meeting there a week ago, and everything went absolutely fantastic. The hotel's hospitality and helpfulness at every step was invaluable. Five stars for the staff (especially Albane and Ben) is definitely not enough! They deserve much more :)

I stayed here for almost 2 weeks, and overall the service was great. All the staff were very helpful and kind, except for one issue we faced with a staff member in the lobby, she was very unprofessional,but it was resolved very quickly by the management. What I enjoyed the most was their macarons; I honestly wouldn’t mind staying at the hotel again just to have them! Note: My experience was during a busy season (end of August to early September).

Fabulous hotel. The staff are friendly and attentive in this incredibly beautiful and well located hotel. We've stayed a few times and have always had a great time. The hotel and its rooms are immaculate. Bar Kleber is a great venue for drinks, particularly outside on the terrace in the summer.

Sohane was our lovely server and she made us feel welcome and so comfortable! The food was exquisite along with the entire dining experience. This beautiful restaurant just became one of my favorites in Paris!

We visited the rooftop bar and Antoine was amazing! He greeted us and sat us with a spectacular view of the Eiffel Tower. He informed us of the “sparkle” schedule and showed us then best place to take a picture. He was super friendly, welcoming and had a great sense of humor! What a wonderful treat and a great asset to The Peninsula staff. We will definitely be back!

Heavenly! Outstanding service, excellent amenities, all of one’s needs are anticipated and taken care of. The staff is incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful; they make you feel like royalty. Great central location and walkable. Security is discreet so we felt comfortable to relax and enjoy the luxury. Breakfast was a treat with plenty of gluten free and lactose free options; we enjoyed the vast buffet AND ordered eggs and pancakes. We stayed for 4 nights and were reluctant to leave when our vacation ended. LOVED our stay here and we will be back!

We stayed there three days , and were very well treated by all of the staff. The concierge was extremely helpful with restaurant reservations. The breakfast menu was amazing, one favorite was the French toast.

The hotel itself is stunning, the location is perfect, close to everything. The spa is ideal—complete relaxation, facial treatments are amazing, and the ladies working there are professional and very kind. I felt relaxed, and my skin looks so much better. The room was beautiful, the bed huge and very comfortable. The restaurant was perfect; the food was top-notch—the steak was the best I’ve ever had. The service in the restaurant was outstanding, and there was a wide selection of wines. The bar was excellent. However, there are a few things I could complain about: in such an expensive and luxurious hotel, I had to ask twice for water during breakfast, and the same happened with juice the next day. They also forgot to bring an iron to the room, and I had to ask for it a second time. Additionally, the minibar should be included in the room price—sparkling water and chocolates were charged extra. Considering how expensive the room is, these items should be complimentary for guests.

This review is solely for the restaurant portion of the hotel. The breakfast here came highly recommended and I now know why. This was one of the best experiences we have ever had. Our server was incredible and so accommodating. The food was just amazing - I think I will dream of the scrambled eggs until I get back there again. Absolute perfection in every way. I really can't say enough good things. Beautiful setting, beautiful presentation of food, and incredible service. We had such a good experience at breakfast we ended our day here as well with dessert and a nightcap before heading back to our hotel. That experience was nothing short of amazing, as well.

i came to Le Meurice twice last month. Service was fantastic. Rooms were great. Housekeeping was wonderful. They managed to acquire tickets for me, that were difficult to find for a few special museums. They arranged a special tea service where i wanted specific cedric grolet pastries. Breakfast was truly amazing. There are so many individuals who made us feel special (a taller brunette gentleman with guest services, all the concierges, Juliette at the front desk - was so welcoming, a south asian server at Breakfast, and many more). I wish i had all of their names. Ive come to Paris 20x, but Le Meurice feels like an oasis. So many special memories. Thank you for everything.

My favorite hotel in paris. The cleanest hotel in paris. The service is excellent. The rooms comfortable. It feels like home. There are a few issues they need to address but no hotel is ever perfect. If the hotel reads this they need to change how they do their juices, the vendor that supplies them consistently gives them rotten orange juice - so you need to request for the kitchen to squeeze it fresh to avoid this issue. Also i had four incidents of staff walking into the room without waiting at the door- so put your do not disturb on to avoid this. Otherwise no other hotel in paris matches how at home i felt here, and i have stayed at athenee, george v, ritz. It will be my go to hotel for the foreseeable future. Near perfect comes at a price- especially in paris. This hotel is for the .01 percent of people in the world who can afford it- or for very special occasions.

I came in yesterday to inquire about the cigar room, unfortunately only guests could enjoy that experience, but both the concierge and manager were absolutely lovely about making me aware. If this is at all indicative of the service level here..it is a must stay. Thank you so much

I first fell in love with La Réserve Paris in 2019 when my parents stayed there celebrating a 60th birthday. I was able to stay with them for a few nights and I was completely blown away. I have had the privilege of staying at some of the nicest hotels in the world and in my opinion the La Réserve brand has mastered the perfect experience when staying at a five star hotel. So much is done behind the scenes quietly and not in your face. The hotel is laid out in a way where you feel like you are staying in a private townhome. The food is incredible, especially with a three Michelin star restaurant in the hotel. The staff knows everyone and is always guessing a guest's next steps before they know it. They are always available without being in your face. The rooms are set up in such a way where no matter what room class you have they make sure you have incredible closets, bathroom, and room space. I was lucky enough to stay there in September 2024 to celebrate my engagement and again just this past September 2025 for my wedding in Paris! For each of those stays the hotel pulled out all the stops to make sure we had the absolute best time and felt so pampered and spoiled. I could go on and on about all the nice things they did but no one will read all of this so I will just pick the most memorable. Just 2 weeks ago when I was staying there for my wedding, unfortunately 2 of my 3 suitcases was lost and never made it to CDG. The concierge team at La Réserve immediately took over and spent 48 hours day and night to make sure they arrived at the hotel before the festivities began. Air France had not even reached out yet to say the bags made it to CDG. The concierge team had trusted partners that made sure the situation was handled and did not ruin my wedding. I am forever grateful for the team going above and beyond to get the luggage to me. There are so many incredible hotels to stay at in Paris, but if you want to stay somewhere with the utmost privacy, dedicated staff, best food, most beautiful townhouse feeling and not covered with influencers than La Réserve Paris is the place! We will be coming back for many years to come! Thank you!

La Réserve is absolutely heavenly! My partner and I had the opportunity to finally stay at this wonderful property last month and wish we had more time to experience their little getaway from the craziness of the city. Everyone was so lovely! All the staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and ensure you are well taken care of. As a Travel Advisor, I’m also very aware of the detail that goes into these properties and La Réserve definitely did not disappoint. They really want to ensure that they are tailoring your stay - all the way down to the desired temperature of your room! If you’re looking for a quiet stay, in a prime location and want to feel like you’re heading home to your Parisian residence - this is the place to be!

After staying twice for multiple days the only thing I could possibly complain about is a slightly under ripe avocado at breakfast. Service is the closest thing you’ll get to perfect. Edit: I have to give them credit. They saw my review and delivered a perfect avocado the next morning at breakfast with an apology from the chef.

We enjoyed one round of drinks in the bar before our lunch booked with the 2 Michelin starred restaurant inside this hotel. The bar manager Barbara was friendly and helpful. She made a delicious French 75 cocktail and the bar snacks were delicious as well. Beautiful bar with great interiors.

Absolutely loved my stay at Madame Rêve. The staff were truly exceptional, welcoming and attentive, and made the experience feel special. The hotel itself is stunning, with beautifully designed rooms and a stylish restaurant and bar. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated. I can’t wait to come back and highly recommend it.

Incredible stay and would 100% come back. It’s in a fantastic location to walk and the size of the rooms are larger than your average hotel in Paris. The service was fantastic from all departments. We had Jasmine/Yasmin assist from housekeeping with a spill who helped remove coffee from clothing. She was so kind and generous!

I highly recommend this hotel. The staff is very attentive. The hotel is immaculate. We had dinner in their restaurant ‘the kitchen’. One of the best dinners we’ve had. Their rooftop bar is a must visit with beautiful views. We only stayed for one night but will definitely stay there again in our next visit

The Hôtel Madame Rêve is a uniquely lovely place to call home when visiting Paris. It is well located in a beautiful building. The rooms are well decorated, spacious, and clean. The beds are comfortable and the water pressure in the shower is excellent. The staff- from the porters and front desk staff to room service and housekeepers - were all welcoming, friendly, and helpful. But what makes this hotel stand apart from others is the concierge, Edgar, and his staff, particularly Lalote and Aurore. I arrived with a must-see list and a couple of restaurant recommendations. Edgar sat with my mother and me and helped me organize our days, get tickets to museums that were booked, pointed us in the direction of the restaurant that we returned to several times, and gave us tips on how to get around. He did all of this with good humor, genuine interest, and an obvious love for his city and its history. Lalote and Aurore were always willing to sit with us to figure out the logistics of our days and recommended fantastic restaurants. I can’t wait to return.

Very impressed with hotel madame rêve. Excellent customer service, and the room was very thoughtfully designed. Every moment of our stay felt like pure luxury. It is worth mentioning that this is one of 9 hotels in Paris that has 3 Michelin keys. Even the restaurants associated with this hotel were phenomenal, with the rooftop bar having incredible city views. The location of the hotel felt very centrally located. We could easily walk to places like the Louvre, St. Germain, and Notre Dame. This hotel gets a 10/10 for me, we will definitely be staying here again next time we come to Paris.

Fantastic experience; my wife and I stayed here in September 2025. The staff was courteous, knowledgeable, and addressed any needs promptly. The room was amazing - we got one with a balcony which had a beautiful view of Paris; the room was spotless and quiet; the evening turndown service was great as the staff always left Evian and treats afterwards; the clothing steamer (available upon request) was great and quickly de-wrinkled my clothes; the bed was incredibly comfortable; the room lighting options were great. The rooftop bar had a great view and drinks (and with our stay we actually got a drink credit which was nice). The location was fantastic as it was within walking distance of such sights as the Louvre, the Seine River, Notre Dame Cathedral, and many little cafés/bars/restaurants (including Michelin rated restaurants). This was one of the best hotels we have stayed at. We will stay here again during our return trip to Paris in the future!

Incredible meal at lunch today. The food and service was unbelievable. Our head waiter Matteo was the best and sweetest. 💕✨ He had such good humor and professionalism and knowledge about every detail of the cuisine and it made my time there feel welcomed. I wanted to thank him personally as we were leaving but I think he had gone on break. Please tell him how much I enjoyed the experience. The food and wine were heavenly. The new pastry chef has a fantastical sense of flavor and texture and playfulness that comes out in his creations. His use of Menton citrus with chocolate was particularly delicious. The fish courses and pigeon were out of this world. I have been to Bristol many times, but today was the most incredible. The countless peony arrangements throughout were also exceptionally beautiful.

Le Bristol Paris feels like stepping into a palace, with its timeless charm, elegant common areas, and attentive service. The courtyard and Michelin-starred restaurants are truly unforgettable highlights. Yet within the rooms, the charm sometimes fades, where worn furnishings whisper of age more than splendor. Though prices soar, it remains among my top choices for true Parisian luxury. It’s definitely a place I would choose again.

Just be aware of Le Bristol. It is of course a very luxurious hotel with a great lobby and plenty of staff. The rooms are also great. But we experienced quite a few issues with things not working in the room, poor service, issues with a taxi they were meant to book for us. What we found a little frustrating was the response to these issues. The staff, whilst very polite and smiling, did not really go out to put them right. Even when we raised them with the management there was a bit of a shoulder shrug. They need a 'we are going to put this right' attitude, which in our experience they didn't have. Be aware of having breakfast here also. The setting is very grand, but the food is blooming terrible. It is bland - scrambled eggs piled on a plate with absolutely nothing else, for instance. Again, not enough desire to put things right if you raise this. Any reasonable Paris cafe does better. It is very expensive - expect to pay well over 100 euros for breakfast for 2. One other thing - location. If you like high end shops full of very rich people with staff that are only interested in you if you are enormously wealthy, the location is perfect. If you prefer (as we do), lively street cafes, patisseries, great restaurants, the buzz of Paris, then the location is bad - you will need to walk for 20 minutes or further to the Marais or St German to experience this.

Beautiful Hotel and amazing service. The Concierge is amazing and so very attentive to guests. Definitely a must try when in Paris. Go for a swim and lounge on the pool terrace of the weather permits. Food is wonderful.

Unfortunately I didn’t have good experience. We had many rooms booked, we stayed for over 10 days. I always check my room before leaving, nobody spoke to me. The hotel charged us 12k euro for what they said “leaving stains in the room”. What a joke and rip off. This is very unprofessional behaviour Would never recommend it to anyone I always like to post good review, I stay in 5* in over 38 countries and never seems such a poor service… P.S. I wonder why you replied to email you if you haven’t replied back to my email (Not professional behaviour)

My daughter, who is unwell, had to use the restroom urgently. Everyone from the restaurant reception to the hotel manager and security showed fantastic care and concern for her well being. I’m so grateful for their understanding and welcome as we used their facilities. WM Goh from Singapore.

This place is amazing and well-deserving of their 3 Michelin stars for a hotel (not to mention the other 4 stars at their restaurants). The service is impeccable and the rooms are breathtaking. The location allows for easy walks to the best shopping as well as sights in Paris.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. From the service, to the food, to the spa, the atmosphere, and the music-everything is perfect! The breakfasts are ideal, with everything you could possibly need. The staff is impeccable, the spa, the treatments, and the ladies working there are amazing. In the evening, you can enjoy a delicious dinner with perfect wine, but what truly takes your breath away is the bar, which turns into a concert in the evening. Live music is an incredible experience! Top!

Located in a beautiful historic building on the Place de La Concorde, I had a wonderful experience at this property! Incredible interior design and a staff that is world class! I loved having appetizers and drinks in the stunning lounge. I did not want to leave! Bravo!

The bar at Hôtel de Crillon is excellent — the interior design is stunning, and so far the bar staff have been very nice and welcoming. However, the experience at the restaurant next to it was disappointing. Some of the staff clearly need retraining. I was waiting for assistance; one staff member said he would come back to help but instead went on his break and left me waiting. When I finally ordered a soft drink, it took 30 minutes to arrive. And I did put a timer on it Additionally, the attitude toward guests needs serious improvement. Staff should remember that they are there to serve customers, not to show frustration or give unpleasant facial expressions. Professionalism and a welcoming attitude are essential in a place of this standard.

Constructing your hotel in untouched Seychelles endangers over 400 unique species! Their pristine habitat should stay undisturbed. I will never stay at the hotel again after learning about this, unless they change their ways.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel de Crillon in Paris, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked through the grand entrance, I was captivated by the elegance and charm of this historic hotel. The staff was incredibly warm and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was perfect. The room was beautifully appointed, combining classic French decor with modern amenities, and the view of the Place de la Concorde was simply breathtaking. Dining at the hotel was a delight, with exquisite cuisine that truly showcased the best of French gastronomy. The ambiance of the restaurant made each meal feel like a special occasion. The location is perfect for exploring the heart of Paris, with many iconic attractions just a short walk away. I also loved the luxurious spa, which provided a much-needed respite after a day of sightseeing. Overall, Hotel de Crillon exceeded all my expectations. It’s a magnificent blend of luxury, history, and impeccable service. I can’t wait to return!

Service has gone way down hill from its glory days. Beautiful rooms but quite small for the price (2k+ eur a night). I had previously spoken to the hotel over the phone to book at paul pairet’s nonos, however the lady i spoke to on the phone by the name of camille was quite unpleasant and seemed uneager to help for a simple reservation - the hostesses aylul and anna were lovely, so was the manager lisa. For brunch, it was located in the winter garden where the pregnant manager seemed to be extremely displeased with her staff, negatively affecting the service experience including our waiter john dylan. Another manager by the name of elliot was extremely helpful and generous and he left a good impression on an otherwise mediocre experience. And at a price point of 65 euros for a caesar salad I’d expect more of elliot and less of whatever else was going on that day. As for the bar, it took 20mins after being seated for someone to come take our order, and when we asked for the bill, it never came after 20 more mins, leaving us no choice but to leave the cash amount before leaving for our dinner reservation instead of charging it to the room. The spa was beautiful and the receptionist Hakima was incredibly kind. While some aspects remain positive such as the hostesses, the food at nonos, and the spa, other aspects like the service by the phone and at the bar (albeit a beautiful bar) are not worthy of even a 4 star hotel, let alone a hotel that has been named 15th best in the world. I am quite disappointed with my experience because of this and at this price point I would highly recommend anyone stay at any of its competitor properties such as the Plaza Athénée, Four Seasons George V and especially my favorite, the Mandarin Oriental Lutetia.

I can't back Rosewood knowing they're constructing a hotel on Assomption in the Seychelles, ignoring ecological concerns. I have greatly enjoyed previous stays but do not believe that we should be putting our comfort ahead of the environment and at the expense of endangered wildlife.

service is fantastic. food is phenomenal. rooms .... paper thin walls no insulation, no soundproofing in the room or around the bed. could hear a pin drop in the room next to me. unfortunately there was a party next door and did not sleep at all. the cost was 3k per night for a useless room. and they might try to say oh it's a historic building, but you can put soundproofing outside the wall using a headboard or other methods every other hotel in the world uses. don't stay here is you want to sleep. no idea why people pay so much to stay at this hotel.

I do not recommend this hotel in Paris if you don’t want to get a service as in a three star hotel and especially if you plan to spend a special holiday. My husband booked this hotel to spend several days in for my birthday and it was a terrible experience: 1. My family sent a bouquet of flowers 3/09, but the flowers were brought to the room 5/09 the day before our check out. The hotel staff forgot to bring it. 2. We stayed with a dog, but bowls and bag for her was brought only on the penultimate day of our stay. 3. On the last day before checkout, I wanted to drink a tea in the room, but did not find the cups. There were only small cups for espresso. 4. We handed over things to the laundry and got back the things that became small and were like socks for babies. 5. The toilet doesn’t flush good, the flushing button had to press many times. 6. The shower mixer of water dripped. 7. In the bar of the first floor me and my friends ordered a several portions of cognac, coffee, bottle of champagne and all this brought step by step for an hour. How it’s possible to prepare drinks for such a long timе? Several times we asked the waiter where our coffee, he was so unhappy with our questions that he literally threw a plate of sugar at our table as if we are animals. This is really a very beautiful place, but with this attitude the stay at the hotel did not make us happy. Never come back again.

We hosted an event as the Government of Andhra Pradesh in association with the Indian Embassy at Hotel Plaza Athénée, and I must say Gabriela’s service truly stood out. After the event, during the food service, she was extremely warm, attentive, and helpful. Her genuine kindness and professionalism made everyone feel comfortable and well looked after. I had a reservation made a month in advance at Jean Imbert, and they canceled it just a few hours before. The reason: a last-minute guest booked and they had to give them priority. I found that really disappointing, it’s so hard to get a reservation at Christmas, I made mine a month in advance, and they still canceled on me. They offered us other options, but I was traveling and obviously didn’t have all the time in the world. I ended up going to Alain Ducasse at Le Meurice instead. I’ve been to the bar several times (only by invitation if you’re not staying), for pre-drinks, and I had a great time. The staff is nice, and the vibe is really fun.

As usual, magnificent experience. Shout out to the concierge team for making my wishes come true. Terrace closes at 12 am which leaves you homeless…

We were caught in a sudden, heavy rainstorm with thunder while walking outside. Seeking shelter, we politely asked the hotel staff if we could step inside temporarily. To our surprise, they responded with a cold attitude and refused our request without any consideration. I understand we didn’t have a reservation, but their behavior was unnecessarily humiliating.

Juicy and Renault were amazing and friendly. My mom doesn’t speak French or English and they made an effort to say a few words in Portuguese. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The food was amazing but the people were even better!

We just finished dining at the Camelia Restaurant. It was the BEST dining experience we’ve had so far in Paris. The food was absolutely spectacular! The service was top notch. Our waiter was Jusy and he was so friendly, helpful and accommodating. He made our meal even better from his friendly demeanor and politeness. My favorite dish was the hazelnut eclair and the close second was the apple tart.

Amongst other things that I wanna give my thumb up, Front Desk Staff named Tien must have my biggest appreciation and respect. He knew guests need and served by heart. Reminding us the details that we expect to know and have. Very thoughtful gentleman, for instance, I ordered sparkling water upon check-in, then he remembered and served me sparkling from then on. Also, giving us towels and bottle water when we planned to shop around before coming back for room.....so warm. More importantly, he proactively provided a room that fit our preferences. He explained all the details on the way leading us to the room. Warmly introduced his background and communicated in our mother country languages, he gained our confidence to listen to his advise. Very professional hotel staff, perhaps a hospitality professional Mandarin Oriental so valuable to have. Thank you Tien...We will visit you again next trip to Paris. Thx MO.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The food was satisfying — though a slightly larger variety would have been a nice touch — but everything else more than made up for it. The bar, restaurant, and staff were all top-notch and incredibly friendly, making me feel welcome from the start. I enjoyed a fantastic massage with Carmela in the spa center — truly relaxing and professional. After a great workout in the gym, I rounded off the day with a refreshing swim and some time in the steam room. A holiday that truly lived up to every meaning of the word “holiday” — relaxing, enjoyable, and rejuvenating. I’ll definitely be back! The pastry section a MUST!

Le Royal Monceau Raffles was amazing. The staff were super friendly, and the service was just great from start to finish. Everything was spotlessly clean. We loved the café in the lobby as well, really good food. Overall, we had a great experience and can’t wait to be back. Highly recommend.

The location is great, the rooms are beautiful, the staff are friendly and welcoming. My issue is that I had a problem with the AC, and reported multiple times to the staff with multiple visits by the technician to my room with no fix. After two nights of stay and repetitive complaints, they finally changed my room and upgraded to a junior suite, which was great. To me waiting for so long for a final solution was very inconvenient, especially that my stay is only 4 nights so I don’t expect such basic problems to happen in a well known hotel! A change to another room from the first complaint would’ve made me happier.

Having stayed at a number of hotels in Paris over the years, I find the Royal Monceau to be fantastic. I have now stayed there 3-4 times. Rooms are beautiful, hotel restaurants excellent and the service very friendly. Location good too. Highly recommended

Le Royal Monceau is a hotel of outstanding beauty and staffed by the most hospitable people in Paris. We were travelling with my baby boy and they did everything to make our stay comfortable and lovely. The rooms are bright and well let. The butler service is very helpful. The food is outstanding and the Conceirge can do anything. Of the many many places I have stayed at in Paris this was my absolute favourite.

Service and staff are fantastic. Few issues include the spa and pool, which are very outdated, and the floors by the pool should be replaced; they are hazardous. The warm, small dip pool should be a jacuzzi, not just warmer water. Some areas need updating or better touches, such as the cigar room, and they need to provide proper cigar cutters and lighters. Some corners are left unattended, with some loose wires, disconnected items, etc. Visible aging of furniture and fitout, or scratched doors, take away a little. Staff, however, is fantastic.

I want to extend my gratitude for the wonderful service I received. Every member of your staff made me feel welcome, and the attention to detail was impressive. My stay was truly enjoyable from start to finish.

Great spot to call home when visiting Paris. Super close to the train stations and walking distance to some lovely cafes and restaurants. The room itself was beautiful with a gorgeous yellow bathroom and the you can tell they’ve put a lot of love into the Interior decorating. I’d highly recommend and hope to return!

Nice colorful rooms, quite newly renovated. A little small, but that's Paris. There is a small gym and a sauna. Breakfast buffet was a bit disappointing, but very French (no drinking water, no eggs, no whole grain bread). There's a cafe right across, better go there. Hotel has a great location and friendly staff. The old elevator could use an upgrade.

The perfect corner. The hotel and its sister cafe and restaurant are an absolute joy. The rooms might be small, but the beds are by far the most comfortable ones I've had in years of travelling. I would advise having breakfast at the restaurant instead of the buffet at the hotel. Although moving out sounds like a hassle, the views and people-watching make it worth it. Highly recommend when visiting Paris.

What an amazing little hotel. Quirky interiors, warm and friendly staff and so well located to everything. They made us feel so at home on out Trip to Paris. I wont be staying any where else and would highly recommend.

I travel frequently and have stayed in countless hotels worldwide, but unfortunately, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever encountered. On the first night, a serious water leak began coming through the bathroom ceiling. The sound of running water matched the use of the shower in the room directly above us — clearly not air conditioning as the hotel now claims. We reported it immediately, but the staff told us there was “nothing they could do until the next day.” Nobody followed up the next morning, and no one offered to relocate us or check if the problem had been resolved. Over the following days, the leak continued to worsen until the ceiling partially collapsed — a genuinely dangerous situation that could have caused serious injury. When we reported this, the staff’s reaction was dismissive and defensive. Shockingly, the manager now claims that the ceiling was “forced open,” which is both absurd and insulting. We had absolutely no reason to touch the ceiling, and the photos (which we provided to them) clearly show the effects of ongoing water damage. We never “refused repairs” — we simply asked that no one enter our room unattended while our valuables were unsecured. This is a perfectly reasonable request, which the receptionist chose to twist into something else. Instead of listening, he responded condescendingly, saying “How else is someone meant to fix it?” while laughing at us. His tone throughout the interaction was dismissive and unprofessional, and he even made negative remarks about me in French, assuming I wouldn’t understand. To make matters worse, the elevator didn’t function, and the overall condition of the property was poor and unsafe. Despite everything that happened, we didn’t demand compensation — only reimbursement for the bottled water we had to buy because of the leak. Even that small request was refused. In response to the manager’s public comment: Your attempt to downplay what happened and blame your guests instead of taking responsibility only reinforces how poorly this hotel is managed. The leak did not come from the air conditioning — it started every time the upstairs shower was in use. No one followed up after our initial report, no one offered a room change, and the ceiling collapse was real. Trying to deny it or suggest it was caused by us is dishonest and unprofessional. For anyone reading this: please take this as a warning. This hotel is unsafe, unprofessional, and completely lacking in customer care. The manager’s public reply says everything you need to know about their attitude toward guests.

⭐ DO NOT STAY HERE ⭐ I don’t even know where to start. We checked in to find our bathroom roof leaking — which we reported immediately — and nothing was done. By day 3, the roof literally collapsed while I was in the bathroom. When we raised this again, the manager became completely unhinged at checkout — shouting, swearing, and accusing us of pulling the ceiling down ourselves. There’s photographic proof of the water damage from day one, but somehow that’s “our fault” too? The whole experience was genuinely unsafe and disturbing. I’ve never encountered hotel staff behaving this aggressively or unprofessionally. Please save yourself the stress and stay literally anywhere else.

⭐ AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS ⭐ We checked in to find a leak coming from the bathroom ceiling. We reported it straight away — nothing was done. By the third day, the entire section of the ceiling collapsed while I was in the bathroom. Instead of apologising or taking responsibility, the manager lost his mind during checkout — yelling, blaming us, and claiming we “pulled the roof down” ourselves. Completely absurd, especially considering we had already shown them photos of the leak from day one. The whole situation was unsafe, unprofessional, and honestly traumatic. I’ve stayed in plenty of places and have never experienced anything like this. If you value your safety and sanity — do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere.

Great location, really convenient for exploring Paris. The room felt a bit old but still well kept, and overall service was friendly. The toilet flush was strangely hard to press though. As a Globalist I was hoping for a room upgrade but didn’t get one, which was a little disappointing. Breakfast was okay, but the choices were quite limited and a couple of staff members seemed not very professional. Still, it’s a nice hotel and I’d come back again — just hope to see a few improvements next time.

Our best Hyatt stay to this day! We stayed three nights in the city to celebrate our anniversary, booked with points (many of them, lol). Since we have globalist status, we got an upgrade to a suite during check-in. The staff was SO friendly and accommodating, from the people at the door to the restaurant staff and cleaners—everyone was super attentive! The hotel is gorgeous. It is a little older building, but really well kept. Our room was huge; we had two bathrooms, two showers, a living room, and a big, super comfortable bed! They gifted us some champagne and macarons on our first day; it was such a cute detail! The breakfast buffet was amazing, you can also order something from the menu, either sweet or salty, as well as drinks and even champagne (yes, for breakfast 😂). There is a small gym on the property, and I got a couple of workouts. There is also a spa, with a jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna, perfect for relaxing! I felt like I didn't have to leave the hotel much, since it was so lovely! The area is nice, all the fancy stores are in the area, so it is perfect to do some shopping. Overall a very wholesome experience, I would 100% do it again, this hotel is on my top favorite places to stay ever!

The Park Hyatt Paris exceeded our expectations. From the warm welcome from the guest relations supervisor, Marcela Gomez to the beautiful room, the very comfortable beds and linens, the wonderful shower and bath to the amazing restaurant and bar. Everything was a 10 out of a 10 and we will definitely be back the next time we visit Paris. Thank you Marcela for making sure our stay was just perfect !

I’ve stayed here so many times and even with so many new and wonderful Parisian hotels, I always come back to Park Hyatt Paris. The staff, the breakfast, the attention to detail is mind boggling. Easily the best overall Park Hyatt experience of the brand. Location is great, the staff knows your name, the gym is well equipped and you’re a 3 minute walk from the Metro. Breakfast is absolutely incredible. I could go on and on but you get the gist. I got a room with a massive terrace as an upgrade. Pic is below.

We enjoyed the Sunday Brunch as a few years earlier but noticed the much scaled down options. A lot of various salads. Cheese selection meager and this in France! More variety of culinary options would have been appreciated. Service and staff very attentive.

The guards are just racist. No respect. No patience. Rude to women. Is this a French manner? They pushed Asian girls strongly to the ground and made one Asian girl fall down. By the way they drove the car deliberately to the people in front - are they killing ppl? I’m sorry for the hotel manager. This is the worst 5-star hotel i have visited. Avoid it.

This hotel is excellent; however, having stayed at Park Hyatts in Japan, the Paris location falls short in several way: 1. Breakfast buffet: As visitors with Globalist benefits, the breakfast (60 euro) was included. However, the first day, we noticed a significant amount of flies on the food, especially the cheese (my favorite). This was very off putting as the cheese was covered in flies and sitting on the buffet. The chef came out every 10 minutes to wave them away, but I was astonished that they did not remove and replace the cheese. This was very off putting. The other two mornings, there were fewer flies but I still saw some. At the price of the buffet, I’d recommend the Park Hyatt invest in covered trays to protect food that was prone to flies. 2. Room: The room was large and spacious but oddly laid out. We were upgraded to a superior room, but it seemed like it mostly offered more unusable space. The only sitting area was a single chair and ottoman and a desk chair. We hoped to have breakfast in the room, but there was truly no functional place to eat it. As most of the rooms are interior facing, the room was quite dark throughout the day (a negative for sitting in the room during the day but a plus at night). 3: Bathroom: The bathroom was large but the toilet offered no separation from the shower/sink/dressing area. This was a bit odd and frustrating for such a high end hotel and large room. Additionally, our room only had a shower (no bath tub). This room seemed well configured for one person but not two. 4: Work/maintenance. Our final day, while trying to nap, there was repeated hammering for about 45 minutes near the room. While maintenance is expected, an advanced notification would have been welcome so we could avoid the room (especially since we received an advanced notice about anticipated strikes, I feel like this could have been possible). Additionally, our first day after checking in, we discovered that neither of the outlets worked by our bed (tripped switch). This was quickly rectified by maintenance but still surprising to find in a hotel of this caliber. With those issues out of the way, the service was excellent, the bed comfortable, and the location perfect for seeing Paris. However, this location did not compare to either Japan location, and, ultimately, I would not consider this location for a future Paris trip given the nightly cost in points and dollars. It is great for a one time stay but not more.

The Suzanne Suite at Brach Hotel in Paris is truly exceptional! The suite is incredibly spacious, beautifully designed, and offers top-level comfort. One of the highlights is the private garden — a peaceful green space with an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a relaxing stay in the heart of Paris!

Great location near cafes and grocery stores, short walk to Eiffel Tower and a quick run to the big green space in the city. Quick Uber to Notre Dame and Arc de Triomphe. Splurge for a high floor room with a view — it’s awesome at night when the Eiffel Tower is all lit up.

Probably the chillest hotel I’ve stayed at in Paris. The room was very well designed, bathroom was spacious and well equipped. The hotel restaurant had great food and ambiance. The staff was super attentive and went the extra mile; from calling cars to ensuring every need was met. I lost one of my phones in a cab and a concierge went out of his way to acquire it, and even argued with the cab driver when a fee had been requested to return it. My kid loved the pool (open 24 hrs), there are several bars which had great vibes. Didn’t get to take advantage of the gym and spa, but will next time!

Came here for a drink on the rooftop which was a great experience. The view of the Eiffel Tower was beautiful, especially amongst all the gardens on the roof. The roof features numerous floral, fruit, and veggie gardens which are used for the hotel restaurant. Very cool to walk the rooftop paths amongst the gardens.

We went just for the rooftop bar, which is a fun, curious and cool experience as it combines dense vegetation with little private nooks to take your drinks, with a terrace with terrific views of Paris, and the Eiffel Tower in particular. You can even rent a hot tub, pictured, for up to five people for €50 an hour. They keep live chickens cooped there, presumably so that they have fresh eggs for breakfast. The access to the rooftop is from the sixth floor, and you have to turn left out of the elevator to go up some fairly precarious stairs so use both hands and be careful. It is pretty expensive with a limited selection of wine, champagne, and 7 choices of 25 Euro cocktails, but they are all very good.

What an amazing experience we had staying here to celebrate a birthday in Paris. The staff was incredible, attention to detail was immaculate, and the room was gorgeous. Make sure to check the Eiffel Tower view at night. The downstairs pool is a great way to remove yourself from the bustling streets of Paris. Nothing but good things to say.

The service is excellent, but the rooms are fairly small and when I stayed there was construction starting at 7am both to the building next door and the restaurant above me on the 7th floor. Two of the three restaurants were closed in early August and there is no other room service option. The rooms were described as having a view of the Eiffel tower which is quite the stretch since you could only see the tiniest tip. I feel like all of this should have been communicated. You can’t beat the location, but the price should reflect the current hotel conditions and amenities available.

Dined at Langosteria, the Italian restaurant, on Friday, 9/19. Was seated, and no one came to wait on us, leave a menu, offer water, cocktails, etc. Had to wave a waiter down to get waited on. We found the quality of food not matching the atmosphere or prices for such a property. Food was mediocre at best. Just not worth it.

In the world of hotels Cheval Blanc Paris truly is flawless, intimate and unforgettable! My husband and I stayed with our two Chihuahuas and were impressed by the hotel’s exceptional service and thoughtful pet-friendly touches. The location is perfect, with breathtaking views of the Seine and Eiffel Tower, and walking distance to Paris’ most iconic spots. The rooms are elegant and serene, the dining at Plénitude was world-class, and views from Le Tout-Paris rooftop bar just magical!

Perfect amenities, interior design, Dior spa and location right next to the newest luxury department store and the famous river. Great food and amazing views of the restaurants. Very considerate housekeepers who cleaned my glasses as well.

The location is amazing, right next to the Louvre, and the rooms are beautiful and spacious. The light colors and lovely details make them feel so special. The spa is one of the nicest I’ve seen in Paris.

Birthday dinner for my fiancee last week. Food was delicious (recommend the octopus/stuffed vegetables), cocktails were light and refreshing, and service was attentive (but not over fussy). Highly recommend and will return on my next visit to Paris.

NEAR PERFECT EXPERIENCE BUT IMPERFECT ROOM! For our 10y anniversary, we booked the Jr Balcony Suite with the panoramic view of Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame >1/2 a year in advance knowing this is the most desirable 5* hotel in Paris, especially when the 3* Plenitude is there. Location was central. The service was impeccable from the moment we arrived to when we departed, including welcoming treats for our anniversary and birthday. The in-house car service was a great addition which allowed us to go to nearby attractions. The concierge was very accommodating and responsive to our needs, as well as the reception staff, checking on us whenever we return to the hotel. The gym and pool were rarely used and it felt like having your own private workout spot! The Dior Spa was wonderful and Plenitude did not disappoint. What disappointed us the most was the fundamental issues with our room 606 and the deficient sound proofing of the building. We knew this in advance from other online reviews about the noise from the furniture moving on the 7th floor rooftop bar/restaurant, but didn't realize this would happen after 1AM after the place was closed as the staff were cleaning up! Being the floor below meant we couldn't fall asleep when we could hear the furniture moving around for at least an hour until past 2AM. I hope they could sound proof the ceiling and 7th floor better because this would certainly be a deal breaker for us. We notified the reception of this issue and were provided with ear plugs the following night but clearly this was only a band-aid solution. A 2nd major issue is this annoying green blinking light at the ceiling area right by the windows at the head of our bed (see photos). I don't know what it was but when sleeping on the window side looking at this strong blinking light really made it hard to fall asleep (plus the ceiling noise)! I guess we were too tired to notice these issues the following few days of our stay, but I couldn't imagine this would happen at any 5* hotels! The 3rd issue was that there were no black-out shades so the curtains left a gap where the light could come through. The hotel's solution was at turndown service they put a black scaffold up against the window to block off the light from outside (see photo). I hope they will have a permanent solution to this because it really looked amateurish and we had to remove it to access the balcony at night. We gave this feedback to the hotel survey and the GM was responsive with a personalized response which was nice. Overall, this was a wonderful hotel with impeccable service but we were shocked by some of the fundamental flaws of the room design. Hope they will have a permanent fix to this because the guests should clearly be aware of these issues beforehand.

This is a charming boutique hotel. On the first day, there was an issue with the car transport booked directly with the hotel from airport where the driver the hotel hired was over 30 min late, and the back seat had dirty tissue and empty water bottle from another passenger. The hotel refund the ride and offered an earlier check-in which was a nice gesture. The elevator was broken for one day where the stairs were used to walk up to the fifth floor for the day. The banging noise from the elevator could be heard in the room. The manager stated that this can happen at any hotel. The room service and the restaurant attached to the hotel are excellent.

Absolutely incredible time at Chateau Voltaire. Kind, welcoming staff that took personal care of us, let us check-in early (taking a shower after long day of travel made our day 100x better). Gorgeous room with high quality amenities, super-comfortable mattress and perhaps the best in-room snack+bar station I've ever seen anywhere. Please make sure to try the non-alcoholic rose and some of the snacks, it's delicious! Lovely details everywhere, from choice of art on the walls to cute room keys that you don't need to worry about losing or forgetting. We're beyond grateful for all the care and warmth we got from hotel staff. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Paris.

Positively one of the most transcendent luxury hotel experiences I have ever had the singular pleasure of partaking in. From the very instant my weary feet alighted upon the hallowed threshold of JK Place, I was venerated as though I were the sole luminary in attendance (though, in truth, this is the ineffable alchemy that renders JK Place so extraordinary—they bestow such exquisite treatment upon every guest). Having been apprised of my odyssey from the distant tundra of Alaska—a journey both protracted and, dare I say, rather grueling—the gracious staff anticipated my every need. I was cordially escorted to the resplendent hotel restaurant, where a delicate, restorative breakfast awaited, as if conjured by some benevolent culinary sorcerer. Thereafter, I was ushered to my absolutely ravishing suite—an accommodation so capacious (particularly by Parisian standards) that it elicited an audible gasp. The walk-in closet, a veritable sanctuary for my traveling finery, had already been meticulously arranged, with each piece of luggage ensconced in perfect order. Throughout our sojourn, we were greeted with such warmth and unflagging attentiveness by every member of staff that I began to wonder if I had unwittingly been adopted into a family of consummate hosts. No desire, however trivial, went unheeded. Each detail, no matter how minute, was executed with a fervor that can only be described as the purest expression of hospitality. And, as a testament to the establishment’s unparalleled devotion, the ever-thoughtful Carlo personally followed up with me after our departure, orchestrating the arrival of an enchanting Parisian care package to my Alaskan abode—a gesture so gracious it nearly defies description. I am positively effusive in my admiration for the service and care lavished upon us. The location itself is divine—eminently walkable, with a veritable cornucopia of culinary and retail temptations mere steps from the front doors. Having luxuriated in the purported splendors of numerous five-star Parisian hotels (including the venerable RC), I can declare with unshakable conviction that JK Place stands peerless. It is, quite simply, the singular haven to which I shall eagerly return.

This has been one of the best hotel stays we’ve ever had. We went to a number of very high end hotels in Italy and France this year, but this was exceptional. Service and food are fantastic. Rooms are so so beautifully decorated. Spa is the best we’ve had at a hotel in years. Location is super quiet and convenient. Can’t say enough nice things about this very special property.

New hotel is beautiful. Really beautiful and elegant. Service is warm and friendly and so happy you are there. But it is Italian service which is happy and smiley but not 100% perfect yet. But it’s a new hotel and it’s 90% there. We would stay again, for sure. Lovely hotel experience. Manager Camille is outstanding and competent.

This hotel offers one of the best rooms in Paris at its price point, along with an impressive pool and sauna area. The physical amenities truly made us comfortable. However, the hotel’s service left much to be desired. Weeks before our stay, we requested a specific room layout, providing photos for clarity. Despite this, the staff repeatedly insisted they didn’t have that room setup, contradicting our direct evidence. Upon arrival, after further confusion and discussions, they finally accommodated our request, which we appreciated, though we found their unfamiliarity with their own rooms puzzling. Additionally, our breakfast experience was disappointing. Despite multiple empty tables in the main dining area, the staff insisted on seating us in the dimly lit bar. Notably, the only other guest seated there was a minority customer, who was addressed by the staff in a condescending tone. Feeling uncomfortable, we decided to leave. Overall, the inconsistency between the excellent physical facilities and poor service quality was surprising. With improved staff training and management oversight, we genuinely believe this hotel could become one of the top choices in Paris.

If Jay Gatsby and a Parisian philosopher decided to open a hotel together, I’m fairly certain they would have created the Hotel Saint James. My wife and I just stayed here for our anniversary, and it wasn’t just a hotel stay—it was an experience so perfect it almost felt like immersive theater and YOU are the star 🤩. From the moment we arrived, the staff pulled off that rare magic trick of being flawlessly professional while also genuinely warm and kind. They welcomed us with a handwritten note and a bottle of wine that somehow managed to feel both thoughtful and cinematic, as if Wes Anderson had directed the check-in process. The Library Bar is exactly what you think a Parisian library bar should be: dark wood, velvet chairs, and just enough grandeur to make you wonder if you should be ordering a martini while quoting Baudelaire. We, of course, settled for chablis and a Croque monsieur, and it was glorious. Breakfast in the dining room was another highlight—fresh pastries that could start international conflicts, eggs prepared with the precision of a Swiss watchmaker, and coffee that single-handedly erased jet lag and restored my faith in mornings. What makes Hotel Saint James different, though, is the people. Service wasn’t just efficient; it was anticipatory with touches of magic. They seemed to know what we needed before we did, which was equal parts impressive and mildly terrifying lol (in the best way). In short: this is not just a hotel. It’s a romantic stage set in Paris where you get to play the starring role. Stay here if you want to feel celebrated, spoiled, and—if you’re lucky—slightly more French than when you walked in. Fabulous in every way! This hotel is a unique oasis nestled by the Arc de Triumph. From the moment you drive through the gates you are stunned by the beauty of the hotel and its grounds. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The breakfasts were delicious as was the meal we had in the stunning backyard outdoor restaurant which was so serene and peaceful. Great location for brasseries, high end restaurants, walking to Eiffel Tower. Would definitely return!

We stayed at the Saint James Paris, and while the property itself is beautiful, the experience fell short of what you would expect from a 5-star hotel. The room was very nice, spacious, and had a lovely view, which we appreciated. The bar is also charming, with a pleasant atmosphere. However, the service was mediocre at best overall. Most disappointingly, the telephone in our room did not work. When we raised this issue with the staff, we were told that no technician was available and we would have to wait until the next day. This is simply unacceptable for a hotel of this level. If there’s no way to contact the staff from the room, guests are forced to physically walk down to reception for anything they need, which is highly inconvenient and unprofessional. Breakfast was another letdown, as the food was overly oily and salty. The Saint James has potential thanks to its beautiful setting and design, but the lack of attentive service and basic operational shortcomings make it hard to justify its 5-star rating.

We have stayed at So/ Paris several times and always loved the rooms and the unbeatable location. The rooftop bar team continues to be the highlight, especially the hostess who welcomed us warmly every day with a genuine smile and made each visit feel special. Unfortunately, the service in the breakfast room was quite the opposite. The staff felt serious and disengaged, lacking the hospitality one would expect from a property of this level. It is also disappointing that their partnership with the fitness club next door is no longer active. That facility with the pool and gym was an incredible amenity and a major reason we used to stay here. Without it, the value proposition is much lower, as other hotels in Paris such as Brach now offer far superior fitness options. There is also no door service to assist with luggage, and the clothing displays in the lobby disrupt the design flow and diminish the impact of what could be an impressive entrance. A beautifully designed hotel with great rooms and a fantastic rooftop team, but with several missed opportunities in service and amenities.

We recently celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary, and the guest experience team at SO/ Paris completely exceeded our expectations! We were absolutely thrilled when we entered our room to find it was not only prepared with a beautiful, thoughtful gift, but it also boasted an incredible, panoramic view. It was the perfect backdrop for such a momentous occasion. The room itself was a dream. Everything from the luxurious, high-quality linen on the unbelievably comfortable bed to the plush towels made us feel incredibly pampered. The entire space was meticulously maintained and had all the high-end features we could have wished for. To top it all off, the staff was fantastic. Our check-in was seamless and so comfortable, thanks to their warm and friendly welcome. Their kindness and attention to detail truly made our anniversary celebration unforgettable. Thank you so much for an incredible stay!

Modern and lively style. Very comfortable and clean. Room was very spacious with large firm bed. Gym was simple but with everything required for a good workout. Location was ideal. Very close to a Metro station. Very central. Views over the city were spectacular

The hotel is beautiful on the inside, clean and very nicely decorated. We were there for 6 days and 5 nights, and although some of the staff were truly lovely, the front desk, security, and cleaning staff were not always great. The concierge never spoke to us as we walked by multiple times a day. Note: if you put on the do-not-disturb light in your room, be prepared to be disturbed. The cleaning staff will aggressively knock on the door and ring the bell anyway (this happened 3 days in a row). Very aggravating when trying to catch a quick nap before going out for the evening. The good things were the view, it was outstanding, the beds were very comfortable, the shower pressure was fantastic and the bellmen, the room service staff, as well as the staff at the Bonnie and Bonnie bar were exceptional. The So has a modern, young vibe, but at times were trying to be too cool for school and for the staff that has the most interactions with guests (front desk, security), they could benefit from just being a bit more friendly.

Stayed here 4 nights and booked through Amex plat Fine Hotel Resort Collection: Pros: we got very lucky to be upgraded (without even asking!) to a beautiful room with the balcony and beautiful view of Paris (not the Eiffel tho). The room is beautiful, clean, and modern, still dreaming about the shower setup til now. Spacious room and nicely decorated. Had wonderful experience with reception and room service. They even have turn down service. We can have non alcohol such as lemonade, coke, water for free from the mini bar. The hotel is located next to Seine river, you can walk along the river at night with some nice restaurants along the way. The closest attraction is Notre Dame, not quite centrally located but not far neither. You have to go bonnie on 15th floor to enjoy Eiffel tower and Paris. Cons: minor things - experienced subpar service during breakfast: slow to receive the food/coffee ordered, either had to chase the waitress down or self serve myself. Not even once was asked if i need anything else. Though this experience does not apply to everyone (i hope) - billing is not transparent. We have $80 credit and it wasnt listed in the final bill as it auto applied on f&b bills, so you have to know exactly your charges. Due to this, we must have paid eur 10 extra as we werent sure.

The interior design throughout the hotel is modern, stylish, and thoughtfully curated, creating a luxurious yet welcoming atmosphere. And the view from our room was simply breathtaking — overlooking the Seine, with a clear view of the Eiffel Tower. A perfect Parisian experience in every way. We would definitely love to return!

The beautiful private spa offered a perfect retreat for relaxation. The friendly staff truly enhanced my stay, especially the managers, Alexis and Damien, who went above and beyond to help me retrieve forgotten items and arranged for them to be sent to my address abroad. I highly recommend Maison Souquet for its exceptional service and serene atmosphere.

We stopped in to have a drink in their speakeasy. It was wonderfully decorated and very posh. Their drinks were excellent and the staff was very warm and friendly. They even gave us an amazing history about the building which use to be a brothel. Whenever in Paris again, we will definitely be visiting for another drink.

This hotel is an oasis. It drips with luxury and ornate decor. Our room was large by city standards with a walk in closet, bath tub, and separate seating area. The staff is friendly and goes above and beyond to make your stay the most comfortable, enjoyable, and welcoming possible. Highly recommend.

This hotel is nothing short of spectacular! The interior design and history creates for a truly engaging experience, however the real “cherry on top” is the impeccable service from the two ladies at the reception and bar staff. Their friendliness and eagerness to help create a magical experience is something my partner and I really appreciated.

We had an excellent stay at Maison Souquet. I felt transported back in time. The hotel is in a great location, beautifully decorated and the service is top notch. Endy and Roxanne took excellent care of us, helping us get into our room quickly and finding some local places to eat and drink. Both made our stay a very memorable one. We will return.

Prepare to step back in time, to the romance of la Belle Époque, in this elegant and sensual feast for the eyes and soul. Named for the madam of the exclusive brothel this was in yesteryears, now transformed into plush luxury and highly attentive service of today. With three period salons to enjoy a cocktail or their quite excellent bar snacks, you don't really need to leave the hotel. With the addition of a private pool and sauna, that comes with your stay, that is available to book one hour per day. They take you from your room to the spa and lock the door as they leave for you to enjoy in complete privacy attired however you choose... Service is top notch, the ratio of staff to guest makes certain you are always looked after. Well worth the price of this five star property.

Simply amazing. The service, the spa, the bar. It’s all world class. Feels so intimate and private. Like a velvet-laden dark, quiet sanctuary from the world. Just go. Worth it.

This is a five star hotel in a beautiful section of Paris. Close to shopping, restaurants, and sightseeing. The area felt much less tourist oriented and more local in a good way. The lobby and public areas are clean and elegant and the staff is friendly and professional. The rooms are a little on the small side and the junior suite is just a slightly larger room with a small sofa and a desk stuck awkwardly in the middle of the room. The nightstands are tiny and there isn't much place to put things down other than that sofa or the floor. The closets were spacious but there wasn't much drawer side and no dresser in the room. The marble bath is elegant but water sloshes everywhere. Housekeeping was spotty. A prior guest's undergarment was left in the closet and the shower had multiple long dark hairs from a prior guest. Meals from room service and breakfast in the restaurant were both nice. Do not open the balcony doors in the evening or you will invite in a swarm of gnats attracted by the building facade lights.

The best hotel I’ve stayed in. Very upscale and up to date. The staff anticipates your needs. Ask for Ann in the Bistro for breakfast and the breakfast Bistro manager Azzedine will make sure everything you need is met. The rooms are hardwood and Marble floors. Getting a massage is a must. The neighborhood is safe. You will love it.

Great hotel and location. We were welcomed by Pierre at the front desk who facilitated our check-in process. We were giving a complementary upgrade which was a nice touch as we are celebrating our wedding anniversary. they even placed rose pedals on our bed and in bath …classy and nice romantic touch ! it is located in great neighborhood in 6th district and is close to Le Bon Marche for shopping. The building is historic and beautiful with great art deco touches and beautiful original artwork especially seen in Bar Joséphine. . The original Romanesque frescoes in Bar Josephine are truly remarkable and worth a visit. The public spaces are amazing and one needs to appreciate them . . . For example there is a wonderful first floor library which is an excellent tranquil respite from all the hustle and bustle of a metropolitan city like Paris. We used it after having a late night drink at Bar Joséphine and perused their wonderful diverse book collection! Concierge also was helpful giving us recommendations for off beaten path activities/excursions and we ultimately went to see photography art exhibition at Musee Maillol of Robert Doisneau We saw most iconic shots by the great Robert Doisneau, the amazing French photographer who captured moments and elevated snapshots of French citizens especially French children and is well known for the iconic photograph titled “The Kiss at the Hotel de Ville” We didn’t use their spa, gym or pool but went by to check out and looked enticing. Breakfast was included in our rate and was at great restaurant with buffet options and seats outside overlooking busy Parisian street. we sat outside to take in a typical Parisian Monday morning. First time staying in this neighborhood and hotel and won’t be last as had wonderful stay !!!

Convenient location and plenty of professional staff. Great spa/pool area downstairs. Unusable wifi in the room though, this is not a place to work from. Too many illogical artifacts will make guests crazy though, as if architects/designers never stayed in the hotel: wifi is unusable on the 7th (reportedly equally bad on the 3rd and correct on the 2nd) well below 1Mbps, taking ~30 seconds just to load the wifi portal. Shower conditioner in rigid containers making it hard to get the product out (reportedly very tightly sealed in multiple rooms). Confused design for temperature knobs, try whether it expects clockwise or anticlockwise. Useless gadget inside the bathroom mirror: an integrated TV playing ads. No light switches but electronic panels that attempt to do everything (blinds, lamps, temp) with more user friction than analogic buttons. Directional signs missing when you most expect them (e.g. to the lifts), with misleading arrows. For little things, a simpler experience that works may be preferable over cumbersome badly engineered gadgety solutions tarnishing the history of the building and the efforts from the staff. That could easily be resolved.

Just enjoyed a four night stay at the Mandarin Lutetia. The service and staff were wonderful and kind, however there were some issues with the room. The internet barely worked one day and it was a struggle to book our attractions and plan our routes. The television also was frozen/not connecting one evening and through the next day. Frustrating issues for a Palace hotel. But, most terrifying of all was that on the day of our departure, I found myself locked inside of the water closet of my room. When I locked the bathroom door, the interior lock popped off. I was unable to re-attach it and was fully locked inside. Thankfully, my son was with me and called the front desk for assistance. It's scary to think what would have happened otherwise, as I had the do not disturb sign on and could have been trapped for quite some time. If you are familiar with European water closets they are windowless and quite claustrophobic. Lesson learned to always bring a cell phone or don't lock the door. Prior to staying here, we were at the Relais Christine, and that is where I will return next time.

THE PERFECT HOTEL IN PARIS!!! We are actually still in-house and although checking out in a few hours, I felt compelled to write this review while my thoughts are still fresh in my head. Having been to Paris many times, and fortunately, having stayed in the best hotels, I am very happy to say that the Mandarin Oriental Lutetia is now my favorite, and it is not even close! The location of the hotel in the heart of the 6th district is outstanding. The area around the hotel is beautiful, and since Paris is a city where you walk a lot, the location is with 20 minutes of everything we wanted to visit. Lucky for us, the weather was also perfect, which made walking a pleasure. As far as the hotel itself is concerned, there are too many positive things to say, but for this I will say that the service is impeccable, friendly, professional and incredibly attentive. The front desk staff, the concierge, the bellmen, the servers in the restaurants, housekeeping, management and everyone at the property are obviously very well trained on how to deliver the very best in service. The rooms are magnificent, large and very comfortable, and they contain everything you need to have a perfect stay. The bathrooms are beautiful and huge, with a wonderful bathtub and a massive shower. Turn down service is also wonderful. The staff sets the bedroom up for a perfect night's sleep. Although we ate out during the days, we fully enjoyed the breakfast and the two dinners we had at night, which by the way, we asked to have delivered to the bar for more action since it was during fashion week. My wife thought it was an odd request, but there was no hesitation in the hotel's desire to make us comfortable by catering to our needs, literally and figuratively. On an unrelated note, having been to Paris many times over the last 40 years, I have definitely seen changes in the city. The media has done a job on Paris by saying that it is no longer the safe city it used to be, but we experienced no issues during our trip. Security in the hotel is obviously the best it can be, but outside of the hotel in the areas we visited, Paris was alive and comfortable, and we felt perfectly safe. Although our trip was a very quick getaway, because we now live in Europe, we will be back to the Mandarin again and again in the future. For us, there is simply no better hotel in the city, and we hope you feel the same after you visit this incredible property. Well done, Mandarin Lutetia. Well done indeed!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rooms are probably nice, location is great. We left and never checked in due to the rudeness of the staff at the front desk. Have had Platinum Status for years, and never been treated like that. Would not ever recommend a Marriott in Paris. Much better to go next door at Four Seasons, service and hotel are much much better.

Had such a great stay at Prince de Galles. Léa from concierge really made it special — she arranged beautiful flowers in my room for a birthday surprise and somehow got us restaurant reservations during Fashion Week when everything was fully booked. Every detail was handled perfectly, from being personally walked to my room to the warm greetings every morning at breakfast. The whole team made me feel genuinely taken care of — truly five-star service.

I stayed for just one night, but my experience at Prince de Galles was truly exceptional. As a Titanium Elite member, I was fortunate to receive a very good upgrade, and it made my short stay feel absolutely special. Very nice hotel with a great location. Rooms are big enough. Although the rooms need some maintenance as it’s over used but it’s very clean. Bed sheets and towels are clean. Breakfast is amazing, you have the option to choose from the menu, it’s not buffet as usual. The French toast is one of the best I have tried. Manager and staff are very friendly and helpful. The only problem with the room is the AC, it’s not cold enough.

I’ve been a loyal customer for years, but this will unfortunately be my last visit. None of my requests were properly honored, and the overall service has declined significantly. The air conditioning was extremely awful—barely functioning, leaving the room unbearably hot day and night. For the amount paid per night, this is simply unacceptable. It’s a shame to see a place I once trusted fall so short of even basic comfort. Deeply disappointing.

Hotel grand powers We recently stayed at Grand Powers Hotel for the second time. It’s a lovely boutique property in a great location, with attentive service and a nice atmosphere. However, I felt that there was far too much emphasis on upselling. On arrival, because it was our second visit, we were offered a “special rate” to upgrade to a higher category. Later, when we decided to extend our stay for one more night, we weren’t allowed to remain in the same room. Instead of accommodating us, the only solution presented was another push to upgrade to a much larger room at an unreasonable price. When we declined, we were moved to a noticeably inferior room, which was disappointing. The constant upselling overshadowed the experience and left us feeling less valued as returning guests. Additionally, the water pressure in the bathrooms was not good, which affected comfort. Overall, while the hotel has many positives, the focus on upgrades and lack of flexibility made this stay less enjoyable than our first.

I had a great experience at this hotel, the staff was super attentive to all my requests. I was lucky enough to meet the F&B Director, Cloe, and she took the time to serve me exactly what I wanted — a good tequila — after a long day of exhausting shopping. The hotel is super clean, and they always pay attention to the little details. Without a doubt, this is our favorite hotel.

My wife and I just came back from a 4 day 3 night getaway to Paris. We had an incredible stay. We were inside a King Bed Balcony room, with a view of the Eiffel Tower. This is a boutique hotel that is situated right off Champs Elysees, which is perfect. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The service we received here was the best we ever had. Just as an example, my wife was breast feeding during the trip as we have a newborn at home. The staff kept the milk for us in the freezer. When I needed locks for my bags because I misplaced them, the staff went out first thing in the morning of my flight and purchased the locks for me. Like I said, the service here doesn’t get any better. The hotel itself is well-maintained. The rooms are clean. The bathrooms are great. The bed was incredible. If you are considering visiting Paris, you should definitely consider this Hotel. I’ve already recommended it to my family members who visit Paris often, and I look forward to returning.

I travel constantly for work and stay in some of the best hotels around the world but my true favorite is Hôtel Barrière Fouquet’s. The location is outstanding, but what truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional level of service. The welcome is warm and professional, and I must give a special mention to the housekeeping team, my room was always spotless, and the attention to detail was simply remarkable. For example, I had opened a bottle of Coca-Cola and left it in the fridge unfinished… when I came back, they had recapped it! That level of precision is rare and impressive. The head housekeeper was both kind and highly professional. Where to start...our 6 night stay at Hotel Barrière was delightful. The property is stunning, clean and in a great location situated right on the Champs-Élysées. The restaurants on property are wonderful, and the food is top notch. What makes this hotel one of the best I've ever stayed in is the staff. Every single person we encountered during our stay was friendly, helpful and professional. As a side note, I studied French in school a long time ago, but it slowly came back to me on this trip and several of the staff members were patient, eager and willing to practice with me. All in all, I highly recommend staying at Hotel Barrière while in Paris, and it is where we will stay again when we return!

A wonderful restaurant offering simple yet flavorful dishes. Portions are perfectly balanced, and the pricing adds a touch of humor—where a glass of wine is actually cheaper than water. Its prime location right on the Champs-Élysées makes it an undeniable favorite.

Location is great. Room is spacious but a little dated. Service is just ok, not great. Breakfast service could be from slow to terribly slow. When we checked in, we were told this hotel is in the process of being promoted to “palais” class. I think they have a very long way to go.

Tucked into a quiet courtyard near the place des vosges, this hotel is a beautifully decorated and calm retreat from the busy streets if Paris. The library lounge is a must to visit, and the rooms are well proportioned. we stayed during new years eve in covid and even during this time the hotel was a welcome escape. We cannot wait to return

This is a wonderful Paris hotel. The larger rooms are bright, roomy and airy - a rare luxury in Paris. The elegant lobby and charming front garden are its greatest feature. We appreciate the small, sophisticated touches that elevate the experience further and communicate that you are valued; the moment you enter the room: you are greeted with a vase of flowers and a box of luxurious, fine chocolates. Perfect touch The rooms can use touch up painting here and there, especially in the toilet area, but Le Pavillon de la Rein remains our favorite hotel in Paris.

This hotel was beautiful, great location if you’re looking to stay in the Le Marais area. I stayed in the Victor Hugo suite, it was decorated so elegantly and had a comfortable and spacious layout for two people. I would highly recommend this hotel and would love to revisit in the future.

Le Pavillon de la Reine hides in plain sight on the Place des Vosges, or behind one of its memorable façades, past a porch and a carriage way, and a delightfully landscaped courtyard. This boutique hotel is eminently quaint, the rooms are comfortable and tastefully appointed and notably not insultingly small like most of their peers in many of the capital’s hotels. The restaurant is small and deservedly blessed with a Michelin star, whilst the outdoor patio acts as a wonderful dining area at lunch or a cafe terrasse in the afternoon or even at breakfast, in extraordinary peace and quiet, steps away from one of the most touristic squares in Paris and unbeknownst to the hordes of tourists pacing around the area. Simply delightful.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Disappointing Sunday Brunch Experience We came for the Sunday brunch with my family, expecting a pleasant experience given the hotel’s reputation, but unfortunately it turned out to be quite disappointing. The place felt overrated and, most concerning, there was a strong, unpleasant smell coming from the water glasses, cutlery, and even the table itself — as if things hadn’t been properly cleaned. It made it very difficult to enjoy the meal. The only positive aspect of our visit was the kindness and professionalism of the waitress and the welcoming member. She immediately noticed our discomfort and did her best to make things right by offering to change our table and showing genuine care. Her attitude deserves recognition. Sadly, despite her efforts, the overall hygiene and quality of the brunch did not live up to expectations. We hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves the cleanliness and standards, as the staff truly deserve to work in a better environment.

A charming restaurant (not necessarily for the hotel guests) walking distance from the Louvre with a great atmosphere and delicious French cuisine. The onion soup is a foolproof choice—rich, flavorful, and perfectly comforting. There’s a chance to get a table without a reservation, but it’s best to arrive early.

Tonight was supposed to be my second visit to Le Roch. Our first stay was flawless and we were excited to come back. Sadly, our flight from Venice to Paris was cancelled. Other flights were fully booked and we are no longer spending 2 nights in Paris. The hotel did not have to be accommodating to my family as we are technically past the cancellation period. That said, they went above and beyond, understanding the horrible day we had, and cancelled my stay without penalty. Yes, the hotel is beautiful and we will 100% be back, but the way they handled this situation impressed me more than the property itself

Le Roch is one of those places I won’t ever forget. It’s got that perfect mix of modern design and understated luxury without trying to impress anyone. The room was comfy, and had a vibe that was stylish but not over-the-top. You’re not overwhelmed by décor, it’s more about making you feel good and at ease. And the bed is one of the best I’ve slept in (and I typically hate sleeping in beds that aren’t my own). Also, the spa is great. Location is a win (you’re close to everything). But it’s not so busy that you feel like you're in the middle of tourist chaos. You can easily slip out for a good coffee or a quick walk to the Louvre without it feeling like a hassle. It’s just one of those places that’s not too flashy, but does everything right. Definitely worth coming back to.

Exceptional hotel in the heart of St Germain. Fantastic service. Has great amenities as well: pool, gym, sauna, steam room. Breakfast is high quality and nutritious. We had one of those duplex rooms on the 5th floor (50x), and it is a really nice setup . The bed is upstairs, allowing for the bathroom and seating area downstairs. Spacious and also very comfortable. They have live jazz every night. Also, if you stay a certain number of nights, they give you tickets for various museums and events. Service is top notch. Will return.

Bad experience!!! The day i check out, i asked the reception if i can check out at 13:00. He said he need to talk to the housekeeping and he returned telling me i could stay to 14:00. I was very happy. However at 13:05, a call was made to my room and a woman’s voice asked me to check out immediately, and even when I said I will do my fastest she couldn’t let me go, so I said thank you goodbye to put on my clothes and get out of the room at my fastest. The worst part of my experience is that she talked to me like a police talking to a criminal. I told them when I was checking out that their salaries come from us, the clients. And I remind them that the difference of a 5 star hotel is that clients feel being respected. I respected them to ask for checking out later, and they have different messages from one colleague to another, that is their problem. and even they have difficulties or problem, they have to say sorry they can’t give me more time and ask my cooperation and understanding. Instead of giving me a verbal and attitude violence to destroy my experience of stay and their hotel image.

Our favourite Parisien hotel, we have been regular guests over many years, its always a pleasure to stay here. Perfect location in the heart of St Germain. Hôtel d'Aubusson has real charm spotless beautiful rooms, a superb swimming pool, intimate charming lounges it always feels like a cosseting private home rather than a hotel, superb service and a great Jazz bar, just perfect. Great restaurants , bars and cafés all within walking distance.

The hotel has great amenities but the room falls short of what you’d expect in a 5-star hotel. The sink stopper in the bathroom didn’t work properly and the A/C next to the bed made a loud groaning noise every minute on the dot. It was brought to staff’s attention and unresolved.

This was my third time in Paris. I stayed Sofitel de opera and Shangri-La in last 2 trips. All these hotels are fantastic but this hotel surprised me in many ways, it was a Gem in Champs-Elysées. Great location for tour and shopping with immaculate service. Specially Eric was exceptional to accommodate my early arrival from US and helped me with all the questions for shopping and food. I also was surprised to see rooms were ready for night after long day of walking the city. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Hotel Lancaster is a superb boutique hotel. Our room was large and beautifully furnished. It is a beautiful historic building that has been tastefully upgraded and beautifully maintained. The concierges were outstanding in their knowledge and their service. Of the several five star hotels in which we have stayed in Paris, the Hotel Lancaster stands out.

We recently spent five nights at Hotel Lancaster Paris to celebrate our honeymoon, having chosen it in hopes of enjoying an intimate, luxurious experience that a boutique five-star property promises. While our stay was comfortable in parts, it ultimately fell short of expectations — particularly given the hotel’s reputation and price point. Service and Atmosphere The overall service was courteous but lacked warmth and genuine hospitality. The staff often felt cool and somewhat defensive, which made simple requests unnecessarily complicated. For instance, when we asked for our coffee to be prepared in a particular way, it became a point of contention rather than a straightforward adjustment — even leading to the breakfast manager presenting us with different coffees in what felt like an attempt to educate us. Additionally, we were told that the cozy booth tables at breakfast were reserved for large families — yet across six mornings, we never once saw such groups. These small but consistent experiences gave the impression that guest comfort and preference were not prioritized. Rooms and Facilities Our room was elegantly presented and immaculately clean, though surprisingly compact. We were also disappointed not to receive our expected Centurion upgrade, which has always been honored at other affiliated hotels. The explanation provided was that the property was fully booked due to Fashion Week — however, Fashion Week had concluded the day prior to our arrival, and the hotel did not appear to be at capacity. Cleanliness and Dining Areas The most unsettling aspect of our stay was witnessing a mouse on three separate occasions in the bar and dining areas. While management did offer a complimentary night as compensation, the issue persisted, ultimately leading my partner to avoid dining on the premises altogether. For a property of this caliber, this was an unacceptable lapse in hygiene and maintenance. Spa and Guest Experience We had also hoped to make use of the spa facilities, booking several months in advance. Unfortunately, despite our early request, it appeared that preference was given to external clients over in-house guests — another example of the hotel’s misplaced priorities. Location One undeniable highlight of Hotel Lancaster is its exceptional location. Final Thoughts Hotel Lancaster possesses undeniable charm and history, and there were glimpses of what could have been a memorable stay. However, the lack of genuine hospitality, attention to guest comfort, and several operational oversights made it difficult to view this as a true five-star experience. While not the worst stay we’ve had, it was far from exceptional — and regrettably, we would neither return nor recommend it.

My third stay at the Lancaster, and I think that in itself speaks about my satisfaction with this exceptional hotel! it has all the elements every one needs: excellent Location, spotless cleanliness, attention to details, attentive and kind stuff that makes you feel like family, large rooms and comfortable beds, and delicious breakfast. Hotel Lancaster is our go to hotel when visiting Paris. The hotel offers a great balance of luxury, service and great location. My wife loves the proximity to some of best luxury shopping in Paris. The staff are very friendly and speak good English. The breakfast menu combines local flavors and fresh fruit. The bar is a great place to unwind after a day of shopping or sightseeing or business.

I recently stayed at the Bulgari Hotel in Paris. While the location is average compared to some other top-tier hotels in the city, the service truly stands out — fast, attentive, and responsive to every request. The room itself was very comfortable: excellent blackout curtains, good soundproofing, though occasional sirens from the street could still be heard at night. The hotel carries a certain sense of historic charm, though some parts feel a bit dated. The gym was quite small and basic — surprisingly even smaller than the one I have at home, which was a bit disappointing for a hotel of this caliber. On the plus side, the breakfast was absolutely delicious — one of the highlights of my stay. However, the food at the hotel’s restaurant was just average and didn’t quite live up to expectations. Overall, a comfortable stay with top-notch service and a fantastic breakfast, but with room for improvement in facilities and dining.

It felt like a temple made for women like me — independent, elegant, unfazed by noise. Breakfast was a ritual. The spa felt like time stopped. I didn’t even want to take photos… I just wanted to be. I’ve recently been coming to the Bulgari Hotel Bar quite often, hoping to become a regular. I truly enjoy the atmosphere and have generally appreciated the service. However, I had a disappointing experience that I feel is worth sharing. ( but the service at the table is good ) We were promised a specific table, and while the staff was in the process of preparing it for us, we were later told it was no longer available because guests staying in the penthouse had requested it. I completely understand the need to prioritize VIP or penthouse guests, especially on special occasions—but in this case, it felt poorly handled. We were already called to return to the table, and I even brought my drink with me, only to be told last-minute that the table would go to someone else. That kind of back-and-forth is frustrating, especially when a promise was made. I respect the importance of penthouse guests, but I also believe that regular, loyal clients should be recognized and respected as well. A better balance between treating VIPs and fostering long-term relationships with regulars would really elevate the experience. I’m sharing this in the hope that service consistency and guest consideration will continue to reflect the level of luxury and hospitality Bulgari is known for.

My stay at Maison Proust, Paris was nothing short of magical – truly as enchanting as they say. It felt like a home for days, wrapped in beauty, comfort, and warmth. Beautiful Hotel but the rooms are extremely small. It’s not a great value. The private pool is nice but you have to reserve a time and hope it’s available when you want it as it’s allotted to you for the hour personally and closes at 8. The area is nice and vibrant but about 30 minute ride to any attractions. The staff was generally helpful but when we asked where we can see the Bastile day fireworks the first response was “too many tourists” and another reluctantly gave a random place.

We come to Paris frequently from the states as relatives live in Paris. The service and attention to detail at the Maison Proust is a ‘cut above’ any other 5 star hotel I’ve stayed at…. Be it in Paris or elsewhere in the world. The service is that special!!! Like the other reviews mention, the spa and Hammam which you can reserve for your private use as part of your stay, is a special oasis. Be it after a long flight or a day of tourist activities. Enjoying a beverage at the bar is an absolute must! If you like 1920’s era vibe, you are in for a treat. This part of the review is for Americans. As this stay was part of a month long journey for my wife and I, the junior suite was very small based on the luggage we brought. It was tight! But I would not let the size of the room dissuade you from staying as the room decor and appointments were superb (I can’t imagine the cost of the wall paper). One must be aware that you will need to make adjustments if the size of a room matters to you. Finally, for those who want a true Paris experience and off the beaten path of tourists you can not find a better place to enjoy a Paris getaway!

Absolutely stunning hotel with a gorgeous decor and vibe and fantastic bar. Staff is incredibly kind and helpful. We were able to check in a bit early and were upgraded for our anniversary to a beautiful suite. The privately reservable hammam/spa is spectacular and unique. Will definitely stay here again when in France. One of my favorite hotel experiences of all time.

Located in Le Marais on a quiet street where you can hear the wind blowing through the parisian streets and trees. Beautiful decor and comfy bed. Spa is spectacular. The service was phenomenal with great attention to detail. Their drinks at the bar were second to none. The hotel is a good hub to explore Paris with the neighborhood full of life and restaurants to enjoy. Great shopping. Safe and extremely clean.

Maison Proust is a rare summer find in Paris. While many hotels price-gouge in August, this property keeps its rates steady and pairs them with top-tier service, a first-class Marais location, and genuinely comfortable rooms. The deluxe room is compact, but for a couple who plans to sight-see rather than lounge in, it’s perfectly adequate. My only suggestion for a hotel of this caliber: add a filtered-water station so guests can refill bottles on-site instead of relying on single-use plastic or supermarket runs, better for convenience and for the planet.

From the moment we entered the front door to this beautiful hotel we were transported to a past world of stories and luxe. The staff were friendly yet very professional, going beyond to make sure our stay in the hotel and our experience in Paris was amazing. Le Grand Mazarin exceeded all expectations. Room 605 was magnificent-beautifully designed, spacious, and full of character, with a unique layout: you enter through the door and go up a private flight of stairs to reach the room itself. The large bathroom and balconies added to the sense of luxury and comfort. The hotel felt both timeless and brand new: immaculate, charming, and serene. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, housekeeping flawless, and the in-room complimentary beverages a thoughtful touch. The pool and steam room were stunning. All staff members were outstanding and went above and beyond-including securing a hard-to-get dinner reservation. A truly exceptional stay.

This was our first time staying here but definitely not the last! Conveniently located in Le Marais. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are well appointed. Definitely one our new favorite places to stay in Paris!

Without a doubt the most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed in! Everything was absolutely lovely - from the incredibly kind and accommodating staff to the incredible location to the stunning design details throughout the entire space. Le Grand Mazarin is unbelievably unique, luxurious, and special. I can't imagine coming back to Paris and ever staying anywhere else! The restaurant and bar downstairs (Boubalé) is also incredible. Everything we ate was fantastic and the cocktails were just as great as they were aesthetic (the glassware here is, just like everything else, unbelievably chic and considered). And the pool and spa...honestly not sure where to begin. Simply stunning. 10/10 In love! Thank you!

Overall everyone was very nice, rooms are clean and spacious, pool was amazing… but we did in fact get something stolen from the staff. I’m guessing it was the janitors. We had bought Hermes sneakers & we know Paris is known for stealing so we went back to our hotel right after, and jsut left everything in the bags in our hotel room. Noted to never do that again… they had stolen our sneakers and put water bottles to still keep the bag heavy. The hotel did give us a refund but the way they responded was not the best. They told us they can’t do anything because it’s not their fault but it obviously was… The hotel was the only location we left our bags unattended. So if you stay here, just be aware that some thieves are in the hotel ( probably the janitors) and I really hope they fired whoever it was.

My family and I were in London before coming to Hotel Le Grand Mazarin today and we had some miscommunication about transportation to the hotel. Before it became a real issue both Alexandre (First Concierge) and Sirine (Front desk) gave me their word that they would take care of it and they absolutely more than kept their word with me. Of course mistakes are inevitable but their action in correcting it was so appreciated and impressive. Also my wife and daughter think this is the cutest and chicest hotel they have ever been to! Thank you again Sirine and Alexandre! Incredible service is rare!

La Grand Mazarin gave us an experience we will never forget. It’s hard to describe just how magical our stay was. Firstly their staff were incredible. Viera and Tabib were so kind and always had a solition any time we needed them! We chose the hotel as the venue for our wedding celebration (including a reception at the beautiful Bubale restaurant). From the moment we set foot into the hotel we were in awe. The team went above and beyond to make us feel special and the level of care and attention was unlike anything we had seen! The hotel itself is breathtaking. From the hand painted ceiling in the pool room to the incredible interior decorations in our rooms - every aspect was absolutely stunning. We are beyond grateful for the experience Le Grand Mazerin was able to provide. Our stay here will be remembered forever, and we absolutely can not wait to come back.

We visited the restaurant and it was an amazing evening. Fennel salad was over the top as was the Chateaubriand! Staff was amazing and watchful, not over bearing. My only complaint was the failure on having proper wine glasses.

This restaurant is a true gem! Perfectly located in Montmartre (tip: go through Avenue Junot rather than Rue Lepic), it’s one of the most romantic spots in Paris. If the weather is nice, definitely sit on the terrace, it’s magical. The menu is seasonal so you’re guaranteed fresh ingredients every time. If you see the “fines tranches de daurade”, don’t miss out!!! One the best starter I’ve ever had, perfectly marinated. And for meat lovers: fully approved!

Incredibly rude Manager ruined our birthday meal. We arrived for a booking at 22:00 and the restaurant manager looked puzzled as he walked around looking for a table of 5, which clearly wasn’t ready as the restaurant was full. He said the table would be 10-15 minutes and told us to go down to the bar, offering no apology. The table was ready 40 minutes later and we were then told we needed to order fast as the kitchen would close in 10 minutes. The waiter was great, as was the food, but the issue at the end of the evening was once again with the manager. We assumed the drinks downstairs would be comped because of our wait, but the Manager said “you waited because your full party wasn’t here yet.” All 5 guests were there by 22:05 and he was completely gaslighting us, not listening to a word we said in response. I honestly wouldn’t have minded if he was just honest, but to turn it back on us was just bizarre. He then just walked off midway through my sentence, smirking. Genuinely the worst customer service I have experienced in 6 years living in Paris. Advice to the owners - get a new restaurant manager, fast. He was completely clueless from start to finish and the other waiters looked embarrassed by his behaviour. The rest of the staff are great and it’s a shame that the evening was ruined by a manger who was completely out of his depth.

We had brunch on the terrace of Hôtel Particulier Montmartre, and it was simply fantastic — a hidden oasis in the heart of Paris. The garden setting feels magical, surrounded by greenery and quiet, far from the city’s rush. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and perfectly matched to the relaxed, elegant atmosphere. But what truly made the experience exceptional was the service, especially thanks to Antoine, the wonderful concierge. Attentive, kind, and genuinely professional, he made us feel like special guests. A perfect place for a peaceful, refined brunch.

We made reservations for Saturday brunch indoors (due to light drizzle outside). Service took an indelicate and inappropriate length of time (it wasn't even that busy) so we decided to leave. Had better service in Montmartre itself. Also, the tables were so cramped indoors.

The staff the property itself and the rooms were exceptional. It was my favorite part about my trip to Paris. If I would come back again, I would stay here. Superb hotel. Room with terrace and views on the 23rd floor was amazing. Reception staff extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Breakfast had excellent variety. Staff attentive. Roof top bar with excellent views too, great vibes and music. A little out from the centre but transport links and other amenities on your doorstep.

Too Hôtel is one of my favorite places to stay when visiting Paris. The staff is incredibly attentive and goes out of their way to ensure a great experience. The rooms are clean, modern, and offer stunning views of the city, complete with automated blinds for added comfort. The hotel is home to the excellent Too Restaurant and Too Tac Tac bar—two of the best spots in Paris—and you can conveniently charge both to your room. While it’s located slightly outside the city center, it’s easily accessible by Uber or a 25-minute metro ride. Overall, it’s one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in Paris and always among my top choices. I strongly recommend it.

As you know, vacations are acts of love for me. After our London trip, it was natural to take the train to Paris. Staff is incredibly friendly and so welcoming. The hotel is in a redevelopment area and close to the cutest boulangeries and metro stations. It is very convenient to my all time favorite restaurant Lao Viet. And it is relatively new and freshly built for the area. The architecture design is really unique and each room does over great views of the city or the iconic Eiffel Tower. I also love that room keys provide safety. Access is provided from the lobby to only your floor to prevent unwanted or unsolicited guests. Rooms are very spacious and laid out differently than the traditional style. Our bed was centered in the room to give you the best panoramic view. It was a welcome after our tiny space in London. If you get the terry towels, it is heaven! I am a HUGE fan of the blackout curtains. Ooeemmggee, I have never slept in or so well in a hotel. We didn't have enough time to partake in the amenities like the fitness and spa center or the rooftop bar. We did eat at the restaurant downstairs. TooHotel is very hip, almost too cool and needs some refinement but I like discovering the early stages to see how well they grow into their brand.

Hotel with an extraordinary architecture. Good food. BUT: Don’t let yourself be fooled. You should not book it on the weekend. The restaurant becomes a disco and you won’t be able to sleep because of the very loud electronic music. When you aks the receptionist for the volume to be turned down, he will tell you, that the website adivises the hotel with a restaurant and the volume can not be changed. He was polite and offered me an other room on another floor. But I don’likt moving rooms at 00:30. If you don’t book the hotel on the weekends, you don’t need to move rooms in the night.

Excellent hotel with breath taking views, every detail has been thought about. I would like to make special mention of the welcome staff Erica who went above and beyond and made checking in and out extremely easy. I highly recommend this hotel.

We were fortunate that San Regis was able to accommodate us with a very last minute booking. They were professional, extremely courteous and proactive. They were able to turn what was a very stressful day for us into a very stress free stay in Paris. The rooms were lovely, well appointed and comfortable. The service was a 10 out 10. My wife and I stayed for 4 nights at the end of August. The location is perfect. Just a couple of blocks from the river and just a few minutes to the Eiffel Tower, almost next door to the National Gallery and a short walk to the Louvre. The service and food were amazing and everyone from the doorman to the front desk staff were outstanding. We stayed in a prestige room which was spacious and beautiful. We could open the window and the cool air was great. Can't say enough about it. Would highly recommend.

At the end of 3 weeks of travel, we were feeling the need for a vacation! San Regis was exactly what we needed. Staying there refreshed us. It made our stay in Paris a highlight. Having corresponded with him for several weeks prior to our visit, it was a pleasure to finally meet him in person. The team went out of their way to make our arrival special, graciously acknowledging our anniversary—a thoughtful touch that set the tone for the rest of our stay. We were thrilled with our room, which was not only beautifully appointed but also remarkably quiet, a true oasis in the heart of the city. Despite the hotel’s central location—just a block from the Louvre and within easy walking distance of major attractions—it is tucked away on a quiet street, allowing for a peaceful and restful stay. Our stay included breakfast, which was consistently outstanding. Karin and Julie, who looked after us each morning, were genuinely kind and attentive. We also enjoyed two wonderful lunches on the hotel’s charming patio, which offered a perfect setting for a relaxed meal. Initially, I was surprised to see the concierge desk centrally located in the lobby, rather than off to the side as is more common. However, it quickly became clear that this placement was quite intentional and effective. Christopher and his exceptional team—Francine and two other colleagues—acted as true ambassadors of the hotel. They greeted us each morning and welcomed us back each afternoon with warmth and sincerity. This level of personal engagement is one of the reasons we so appreciate staying in smaller, boutique properties—you truly get to know the team, and in this case, their genuine commitment to guest experience was evident in every interaction. I am sincerely grateful for the warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail demonstrated by the entire staff throughout our stay. Pros: great location right near many attractions and number 1 metro (has AC in the summer). Building was beautiful. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was attentive. Nice breakfast. Cons: wifi didn’t work 2 out of the 3 days we are there. There was no communication from the hotel about it until we asked. The jacuzzi temperature was not hot.

What an amazing boutique Hotel and in a wonderful part of Paris . It is located roughly 1 minute from the Louvre and several wonderful spots including some delightful restaurants…The rooms are very nice and fairly typical of five star luxury hotels in Europe, but the absolute success of this hotel is the people and their service attitude. They cannot do enough to help and support you and Germain and the Concierge team were absolutely outstanding. The young lady at the front desk was amazing and very welcoming… Go quickly and stay there and you will be glad you did, it is wonderful…

My wife and I were supposed to stay here for a few nights during our Honeymoon in August 2024. Unfortunately our travel was disrupted, so we weren't able to return until this past July. From the moment we arrived, we had such an incredible stay at this hotel - welcome drinks, a wonderful room upgrade, and friendly staff who clearly personally cared that we enjoy our time at GDPR. We enjoyed the rooms, location, hammam, meals - a truly outstanding hotel experience. Can't wait to come back!

Excellent hotel in Paris with great access to everything. Louvre is 2 mins walk. Great places for lunch and dinner within 5 mins walk. We even walked to Galleries Lafayette from here. Excellent hosts, good breakfast and very friendly and eager to help. Will return to this hotel.

Amazing stay at Hôtel Dame des Arts — excellent location in Paris’s 6ᵉ arrondissement (Latin Quarter / Left Bank), steps from metro, cafés, and the Seine. Stayed in the Signature Terrasse Eiffel View room (Paris-small but charming). We enjoyed cocktails multiple times on their rooftop patio. Staff were warm and welcoming. Highly recommend. All in all, a delightful stay — we’d happily stay here again.

Fabulous hotel. This place has style and practicality rolled into one. The staff are friendly, professional and the customer service is to a high standard, nothing is a bother to them. Some reviews mention the rooms can be on the small side, however we booked a superior room and felt that the space was more than adequate. The rooms are well designed and utilise space very well. Hanging space for clothes is okay, however more hangers would be a good help for a longer stay. The quality of the toiletries are expensive and appreciated - we felt pampered. The quality of the food is exquisite and well presented. The dinner menu can be a little restricted but the dishes are "top drawer" and compliments to the chefs. Breakfast choice is wide and caters well for all dietary requirements. The rooftop bar is highly recommended and the views of Paris are remarkable and very romantic at night, if you are with a loved one. Location is great and the area is safe with splendid bistros on its doorstep. Everything about this hotel is 5-star. It was special. We shall definitely be back.

We stayed in one of the premiere rooms. While the front desk was not particularly helpful and our calls for basic housekeeping were simply ignored, we chose to overlook these issues because we loved the location and especially the gentleman who greets guests at the entrance; he truly made us feel welcome and made a real difference in how we experienced the hotel. We were ready to make this our regular place to stay in Paris, since we visit the city often. The manager was also accommodating and we were genuinely appreciative of her. Unfortunately, all of that goodwill was undone as we were leaving. Out of nowhere, we received a WhatsApp message from the front desk implying that if we were going to steal the ash tray from our room, they could have wrapped it for us. In reality, we had only moved it aside because of a pest issue, to prevent it from being broken. To receive such a callous and unnecessarily insulting message, particularly for a room costing several hundred euros per night, was shocking. What made it worse was that he had first sent another message, deleted it, and then followed with this accusation, which only highlighted the lack of professionalism. Hospitality is about trust and respect. Being accused of theft in this way was cruel, passive-aggressive, and erased the goodwill we had felt during our stay. It’s unfortunate, because one bad apple can undo everything else that was done right.

We arrived into CDG at 2 pm local time and took a 65EUR taxi to the Hotel Dame des Arts and were greeted by incredibly warm and friendly folks at the front desk. Our room on the 8th floor was small but cozy and well appointed with a gorgeous view terrace to enjoy a glass of wine before bed and an espresso before leaving the room in the morning. Upon arriving into Paris we did not have dinner reservations. The hotel concierge (Erwin) sat down with us and took the time to ask us what sort of experience and cuisine we were looking for and within a short time had a handful of wonderful recommendations - one of which we chose and were able to secure a 7 pm reservation at a wonderful local dining spot (Au père Louis). It was exactly what we were looking for in a cool spot, local vibe, good wine list and local / classical French cuisine options. We highly recommend the hotel for its entire experience, warm and friendly customer service as well as an incredibly talented and connected concierge - Erwin.

Yesterday afternoon my mom and I stopped by Hôtel Dame des Arts without a reservation, and from the very beginning we felt so welcomed. The staff downstairs greeted us warmly, and the whole atmosphere was inviting and relaxed. The service throughout our visit was absolutely excellent — we were lucky to be served by Ines, who was attentive, kind, and made sure everything was perfect for us. Thanks to her, the experience felt extra special. Highly recommend both the place and the wonderful team!

Had an exceptional stay at Hotel Dames des Art! It was our first timing staying in Paris and the hotel couldn’t have been better. The friendly staff, cozy clean rooms, beautiful terrace from our bedroom, and incredible rooftop. Location was also amazing. 11/10 would recommend. Can’t wait to stay here again in the future!

Rooms are small. Bed and small chair. Clean. Towels are thread bear. Soap, lotion and shampoos present. Bathroom door is glass which is awkward for room sharing. Coffee maker and small bar fridge. Breakfast is excellent and good selection but you are paying significantly for convenience. Would not suggest drinks or dinner on site unless exhausted. Food is simply okay and bar food appetizers are very small selection. Roof top bar is lovely but again limited food and drinks are mostly promoting Italian spritzers. So recommend for location. Clean but price is high for value. There are lower price points for what you receive.

Really nice hotel in a good location. Quite district and it’s walkable to the main attractions although still not a 5 min walk, but within 15-30 mins you can get almost any attraction place. Good beds, the rooms are small but quite convenient. If you want to stay in a good district in 4 star hotel and with parking that would be one of the cheapest and best options.

A charming hotel with lush rooms and well thought amenities. Lobby is small but has a nice area for food and drinks. Wooden decorations and brass that give the place a warm feeling. Front desk were professional and friendly. They have elevators. The room -junior suite- was large and spacious with a grand bed and street window A desk and a closet with a safe. There’s also an espresso machine and a mini fridge that has 2 still water bottles and 1 sparkling (they don’t replenish the bottles) There are slippers and bath robes Tv and a phonograph with vinyl records The bathroom is spacious with diptyque amenities Easy check in and check out Helpful staff Most importantly a really clean hotel Highly recommended for anyone looking for a place near sain germain or the 6th arrondissement

It is a very good hotel to stay in if visiting Paris. It is slightly away from the main touristy area but there is plenty of good restaurants close to the hotel. The metro station is very close by and easily accessible. There is a grocery store and other shopping amenities close by as well. The room is on the smaller side but very very well designed. It was comfortable for 2 people. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast is good but it can tend to get repetitive. Not a lot of vegan options. Overall highly recommend.

Awesome restaurant! My girlfriend and I have been there last week and are very happy with our joice! Nice atmosphere and great food. And best of all was the service! Louise has left us perfectly happy and could even help us excellently with some allergy issues. Cannot say anything about staying at the hotel itself but made a good impression on us. We loved this hotel! We spent three nights here as a family (2 adults, 1 child, and 1 dog), and the experience was wonderful from start to finish. The staff were warm, kind, and always smiling. they made us feel genuinely welcome 💕 They even set up a dog bed and bowls in our room, which was such a thoughtful touch. The hotel has a luxe yet comfortable atmosphere, with beautiful details like Dyptique soaps, plus great amenities including onsite parking (so rare!), a sauna, gym, and kid-friendly touches. We enjoyed relaxing at the bar (though we didn’t try the restaurant this time). The location is unbeatable… right near shopping, fantastic restaurants, and the garden. Even though it’s close to major tourist attractions, the immediate neighborhood feels local and peaceful. As a bonus, there’s an amazing wine bar just downstairs. I highly recommend Hôtel des Grands Voyageurs to anyone looking for a true 4 star experience in Paris with a perfect location, caring staff, and a refined yet welcoming atmosphere

We stayed here during the Paris leg of our trip, and it was great! Of our two complaints, only one was attributed to the hotel itself. When we visited there was construction right outside the front door and it did impede entering and exiting the hotel. The other thing is that when selecting our hotel, one of the tiebreakers was the fact that this hotel claimed to provide vinyls for the rooms, and we love listening to music! We were unable to find the vinyls in our room and made a few attempts to acquire one from the concierge and never got through to them and never received that amenity. Other than that, it is in a great location! The neighborhood is lively and full of great restaurants and bars and has easy access to public transit.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Service was impeccable and they went above and beyond. Location of the hotel is perfect, you can walk to plenty of nice restaurants and bars as well as tourist attractions. The neighbouring Luxembourg park is fantastic! The food at the restaurant is very good and the breakfast offers a good wide variety which is nice as many places just have the continental offering. The rooms are a bit small but this is generally the case in Paris. They are clean and generally good. Overall we had a wonderful stay, would recommend to others and we’ll be back!

The experience at this hotel ruined our trip to Paris and the owner of the hotel did not care at all to make the matter right. I followed up by email with management 4 times, with only one response that did not resolve the issue whatsoever. The owner, Julie does not respond when you reach out to resolve a problem. The stay here was disappointment after disappointment. 1. The hotel room was covered in dust and mold- including the lamp, window, sheets, bathroom, towel rack and staircase. It looked like housekeeping didn't clean the room or linen based on the thick layer of dust covering everything. Pictures are attached below. 2. We moved rooms the next day. Unfortunately, the problems continued to go downhill. We were told there would be three beds, but got put in a room with two beds. Now three adults were sharing two small beds. The front desk assured me that they would give us three beds tomorrow. Did that happen? No. Then, they assured me the following day there would be the correct amount of beds. Once again, for the second day in a row that did not happen. We did not sleep well being crammed into a small bed. 3. The hotel needs mouse traps set up. I was talking to the front desk and was greeted by a mouse running by my feet and was told they are aware there is a mouse problem. We did not go on a vacation to be sleeping in dust, mold, crusty mattress pad, or to be sleeping in the same bed. There are many other hotels to stay at the are clean, and have management that is responsive, do not book a stay here.

A charming hotel in the vibrant Marais district. The location is perfect, with everything within easy reach, yet the hotel itself offers a calm and elegant atmosphere to retreat to in the evenings. Beautifully decorated, with impeccable service and a delightful breakfast to start the day. Just around the corner you’ll find a lovely square with plenty of great restaurants and terraces to enjoy. All in all, a wonderful choice if you want to stay right in the heart of Paris while still having a peaceful and welcoming place to return to.

This hotel is placed amazingly well! Nuzzled in between two sidestreets and with access to metro nearby. We walked to most of the iconic places with ease as well! It is a bit loud from the streets at night, but you are in central paris, so what else to expect! The breakfast was not too extravagant, but filling and plenty. But what really makes this a gem, is the super friendly, really helpful, and approachable staff! We just had a wonderful time there, a full week well spent. The only minor detail is the rooms. They get quite warm! And there is no air condition but a fan, so we had open windows.

What a great find. We happened to get a deal on the nights we booked, maybe because they were doing some renovations, but it didn’t bother us. Location is great, there’s an amazing courtyard around the corner with several places to eat. It’s only a 5 min walk to the Metro with lots of great places to eat along the way. The front desk staff were very friendly. Room was nice, a couple small things like peeling wallpaper, and some staining on some cushions, but not a big deal. Overall it felt clean and safe. Just be aware the stairs are shallow and uneven depths, so if you have an issue with that kind of thing reserve a low floor or there is also a very small elevator.

I haven't been to many Parisian hotels to compare, but we were disappointed with this for the price we paid. Room was very small with low ceiling and was in general need of redecorating with large markings on the wall and part of skirting board coming off. Bathroom was just adequate - lucky we were only here 1 night. On the plus side staff at reception were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast area and reception were really pleasant. Breakfast itself was fairly average. As others have mentioned the stairs are interesting if a little tricky to navigate with uneven steps. Having said this there is a tiny lift, but beware there are still a few steps to get to most rooms.

Fabulous quiet , charming hotel in the heart of the Marais district . Comfortable rooms , wonderful staff . Lift a bonus after a big day of walking Paris . Convenient to Metro StPaul and the wonderful bistros and history of le Marais . We will be back !!

I was really torn how to rate this hotel! All the problems with it are due to how old the building is, and they are trying their best with what they have, but that doesn't make it accessible or give it much space. The Bad: - The stairs! Oh the stairs! They go sideways and slanted and they are terrifying. When you get out of the elevator (which can hold at most 2 people or one person with a suitcase) you still have to drag your bags up stairs. If you have any mobility issues, you should skip this hotel. - I've stayed in smaller rooms, but this was pretty tight for two people with luggage. Low ceilings as well. - The lighting was so dark in the room even with every light turned on. The bathroom was luckily fine. - Shower only had a detachable head, which you absolutely had to detach or else you flooded the entire bathroom (you still did a bit no matter what). Shower was not fully enclosed and was quite slippery. The Not Sure: - You get one key (a punch card) and have to leave it at the front desk when you leave the hotel, and they give it back when you return but without checking ID. It was usually the same person we left it with but I was surprised to have such an old system when it wasn't a metal key. The Good: - Staff was so friendly and helpful! We were able to borrow an iron and ironing board (our only hotel without one, which was not surprising with the size of the room) as needed, and they helped us book a next day taxi for our very early flight. Everyone spoke English for these lousy Canadians. - It had a cute lobby and small dining area (which we did not use). - The front was decorated with pink flowers! - The location was fantastic! Just a couple minutes from the Metro (which we initially took from our train station directly to the hotel). This line gets you to all the main attractions super easy. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants and shops and is only a few minutes walk to the Seine River. - Crooked stairs aside, it had personality (ie flamingo wallpaper) :)

A well deserved 5 stars for this intimate but remarkably friendly hotel. The rooms, the staff, and the amenities are superb. Larger hotels might offer some things like a bigger pool or health club, but they probably won’t be so prompt at responding to requests for room service and assistance with luggage or suggestions for dining, and arrangements for guides and travel. Everything was personally arranged and quickly, too. The quality of the restaurant and room service was outstanding. Virtually every staff member tried to assist us and often were fully bilingual. The hotel and s small enough that staff members all knew us and made us feel comfortable. I would gladly return on our next visit.

Everyone working at the hotel was so kind. Some of the most friendly hotel staff I've come across in France. The breakfast was delicious and the room was very clean. They upgraded us for free for our honeymoon. So nice! The location was unbeatable. Just a few blocks from the Louve and Seine. 100% worth the price.

I stayed in this hotel for 9 days because I was in town for a painting class. I was in room 403 and I loved it. It was small but with 3 wonderful windows that opened to a quiet beautiful street. The voile curtains were so cute. The room felt more like an apartment than a hotel room. Beds were comfortable and sheets and towels were nice. There was an employee named Charles who went out of his way to make sure my stay was perfect. He made me feel very welcome. I’m a James Joyce fan so I enjoyed the excerpts from his book Ulysses that were placed on our beds at night. Breakfast was really good. The pistachio soufflée on the dinner menu is a must have. ( I had it twice!) The spa is really just a massage room- nothing fancy. But it was warm and comfortable. I thought the bar was uncomfortable and not welcoming. The light is too bright and something about the layout of the furniture is not inviting or comfortable. Also people are walking through it, and they trip over your feet when they are going by. I had to walk through the bar area to get to my room and it was always awkward. I think the lobby area would make a better bar area and the cute library could serve as a lobby. This hotel is not as luxurious as the Penisula, Shangra La, and Lutetia - but it was less pretentious and I did not feel underdressed walking through the bar in my clothes from my painting class. Everyone was so friendly that I felt right at home. And the neighborhood is my favorite in Paris. So I’m sure I’ll stay here again. The concierges were so helpful!

We stayed here for 4 nights during our anniversary trip to France. From start to finish, there was nothing more we could have asked for. Upon checking in, we were greeted with a personal note, complimentary champagne, macarons, and an upgrade to a Junior Suite. We had THREE Parisian style windows in our spacious, lovely room. Upon arrival, we were offered use of the spa to freshen up, which was a really nice touch after a long flight from New York. We did not eat at the restaurant downstairs, but it looked delicious. The cocktail bar was excellent and provided a nice hub to meet with friends for a drink. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. A small, but simple touch were the hotel provided umbrellas that really came in handy on a rainy day. The hotel is located in a peaceful part of Saint Germain that is close to the action, but discreetly tucked away. Everything about this hotel is impressive and we can't wait to return. Thank you to everyone who took such excellent care of us!

Our stay at this hotel was the finest vacation of my life. Our stay was 21 days in the James Joyce room. The hotel staff, including the wonderful restaurant, fun bar, spa and assorted others including the doorman were gracious, efficient and friendly and anticipated our every need. If my health permits, I’m going back in 2026 for an even longer stay. It’s the finest hotel in Paris!

Lovely two night stay at Pavillon Faubourg Saint Germain. Nicely designed, nestled among beautiful streets of Faubourg Saint Germain, good food and drinks, attentive staff - can’t find much to fault here. Definitely recommend and would happily return. Having read other reviews, I specifically asked for a room not in the building with the kitchen and was allocated a renovated room in the second building accessed through the bar. The building I was in was small in size with only about 4 rooms per floor, and the entry point through the bar felt a bit odd but I got used to it. Many Paris hotels reflect the characteristics of their original building(s), as seemed to be the case at Pavillon FSG. The Superior room was very pretty and compact. This room would be very tight for two people especially with more than a weekend’s worth of luggage for two. Do look up the room size when booking as Paris hotel rooms are usually very small. It was small but cozy for one, and I slept extremely well - their beds and bedding are fantastic and the windows do a good job of blocking out noise. As a sensitive sleeper, I was impressed with just well I slept here. Decent water pressure in the shower albeit a bit narrow given the bathtub-shower combo set up. Also highly recommend sitting down for a meal at Les Parisiens and checking out the bar - so convenient to pop down on a rainy evening, with good food and drinks. Lastly, a thank you to the team at Pavillon FSG for taking into my requests, the welcome message and sweet gestures, and attentiveness throughout my stay. Many of the staff knew me despite my short stay, and I appreciated the care they put in.

Gorgeous, welcoming and elegant hotel, in a beautiful area. Staff, including front desk (Anseleme?) and bellman Charles made us feel so cared for. The only drawback was that we were in the third building, and the elevator was in the kitchen entryway, so entering and exiting was uncomfortable, often bumping into carts of meat and potatoes and servers coming in and out of the kitchen. Really made me question spending $800 a night on this weird quirk. Otherwise, the hotel was stunning.
